The hotel seems old and in need for some maintenance. It is small but it has all the basics. The staff is kind and service oriented, I think that is one of their strenghts. Breakfast is good (nice local cheese) and the location was good for me as enjoy walking in the city (20 min. walk to blvd. Haussman)

DON'T TRUST THE PHOTO!! This is NOT the Mecure Paris at 99 Rue de Rome!! (Our room actually faced the street, had dead plants in the outdoor window planter, & a clear view of a graffiti wall across the street near the active railroad tracks!) If all you need is a bed and shower because you spend most of your time out exploring, this hotel will suffice. It would also help if you speak French, since many front desk staff don't speak English, and so aren't very helpful. Rooms are very small and 2 side closets hold about 5 hangers each. Our "queen" bed was actually 2 twin beds pushed together. We stayed for 2 wks & lived out of our suitcases. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and the shower had only 3 sides, so the floor got covered with water whenever it was used. (Good news: there was always hot water!) The location isn't close to most city landmarks or tour companies, so expect to spend money to get where you want to go. There are two railroad stations within walking distance. The hotel doesn't have a kitchen, though there is a bar off the lobby. Restaurants nearby are few. We used this hotel as a 'home base' while we visited Paris and countries nearby. Had we planned to remain in Paris the entire time, we would've chosen a larger, more centrally located hotel.

We stayed at this hotel 20th - 24th may and it was perfect for what we needed, close to the tourist spots by metro or walking. Good wifi which is included in the cost, breakfast is provided at an extra cost although we didn't try it. The bed was comfy and room was spacious. The only thing that would have been handy was if they had spare plug adopters we had forgotten ours which I understand was our mistake but we would have happily paid a deposit as I know people don't always return items they borrow. Would highly recommend this hotel for a trip to Paris for sightseeing.

Our stay of 4 days was about as much as we would like at this hotel. The desk staff were ok, if you got the right shift. Room was a little warm for us with no adjustment that we could find, despite reporting a burnt out hairdryer nothing was done during our stay.
However the bed was comfortable and the room spacious for our needs, wi-fi worked good. The location is around 40euros from the main railway station and close to numerous resturants. Overall basic comfortable accomodation

The overall stay was ok. The room was small, but that is expected for Paris. The room was clean and the bathroom was nice. The issue we encountered was the unwelcomeness of the receptionist when we arrived. I understand that I do not speak your first language, but this is the hospitality industry and you can try to be accommodating. The lady was beyond rude, we simply asked her to point out the nearest underground on a map so we could get on our way and adventure and she legit circled a picture of where the hotel was and said good luck. Also, zero explanation was giving that you need to use your key card to put on the light, so that was a bit confusing as well. Luckily later on there was a different receptionist and the man was more friendly and assisted us. Overall, ok location, ok amenities but that does not make up for the unwelcomeness of the staff. It was not a good way to start our trip in Paris.
