The place was very clean, and we were upgraded to a larger room because we were there for our anniversary, which was a nice treat. Breakfast isnt too bad for the money. But one warning Ill give is to NOT take anything from the fridge. They dont tell you that it isnt included, until after you check out, or you ask. If you go to the supermarket around the corner, you'll get whatever drink you want for a significantly cheaper price. Otherwise, the room was cleaned daily, and the staff overall helped in any way they good, from recommendations for food, to site-seeing, and everything in between. Internet was included, which was a plus. In the end, if you decide to go here, you'll be pretty satisfied. I chose this place based on the reviews on Trip Advisor, and it paid off for us. Enjoy!

We just got back from a four day stay at Le Fabe and absolutely loved it. We originally picked this hotel based on its positive reviews and because of its location. It is close to Pernety metro station, which is away from the crowded touristy centre yet conveniently close to all the attractions.

The rooms are small but but well designed and equipped. The staff are the friendliest I have ever met in any hotel. Their genuine kindness to help in whatever way possible truly stood out.

The only slight complaint I have which really is not the hotel's fault is the noise coming from outside. We were on the third floor but the sound of the rubbish truck every morning and the passing motorcyclists would wake us up. Double glazed windows are not common in France and as you would see for yourself the windows are quite old so it is of no surprise. The same thing applied to the sound insulation between the rooms. We could easily hear the next door people taking the clothes out of the closet with the hangers banging against the wall.

The above two noise related issues were the only points that came to my mind but I would recommend this hotel anytime and would without a doubt stay here again whenever we visit. It is rated as a 3 star but I would give it a 4 or 4+. In a city like Paris, so full of tourists, I never expected to find such a gem. Thank you Le Fabe for a great experience.

How to write another glowing report without sounding like everyone else, it is so difficult.

We read through numerous past reviews before booking for our 20th wedding anniversary trip to Paris, we did not really care where our hotel was located with Paris’ Metro is so easy to use. Le Fabe stood out from the crowd, with consistent good reviews, we booked.

Let me stress being away from the main hub of the city is a good thing, coming back to Le Fabe each evening was like coming home. We received a warm welcome each and every time we returned back to base.

The hotel its self is just wonderful, I could not fault it if I wanted to. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated.

It is the staff that make Le Fabe special, Alex is simply the best host, he always had time for a chat and told us where the best croissants were to be had, and best places to eat, of which there are lots.

If you want a good value, well run, beautiful hotel, you will not go far wrong with Le Fabe, book early though, the rooms sell out fast.

Excellent hotel in a city that traditionally hotel rooms of a good quality can be hard to come by for reasonable value.
We stayed two nights in August and this place was ideal. Staff were extremely friendly, room was spacious and toilet and shower area were excellent. Shower was powerful and refreshing and bed was unbelievabley comfortable (this should be emphaised actually, the bed was so comfy). Room was spotless as well.
Location is excellent, in a lovely neighbourhood with bakery and fruit shops all close by. The metro is a two minute walk and its only 5 mins on it before reaching champs eleysee, so very central.
Ideal hotel for discovering Paris.
Only slight qualm I could have and its not even that big a deal, is that the room we got was right next to reception and above I think may have been a work palce or something of the building next door as during the day, there was a lot of banging on the roof that we could hear but its not like we came to Paris to stay in our room all day......At night time it was fine.
Not even worth mentioning really.
Would return to this hotel for sure.

Room Tip: Maybe ask for an upstairs room to avoid the banging but it was not a problem for us.

We stayed here the first weekend of August, Friday until Monday. After a VERY long morning, and walking from the Porte Maillot station to the hotel in the acorching heat, we were pleased to be welcomed with a friendly smile and a welcome drink. I forgot my travel adaptor and was given one for the duration of the stay.
When we went to our room, we were more than happy with the size, even though ours was the one of the rooms from the 'cosy' option (the smallest and cheapest) we found the size very good, with plenty of space to walk round and be comfortable. The room was kept very clean, we were given fresh towels every day, and we were never disturbed once.
After a nap and a visit to the shop across the road, a young man at the desk was very helpful in telling us the metro stations, giving us a map (thank goodness!) and telling us the best routes to take to places we wanted to visit. He also recommended a place to eat on the last night where he has eaten himself and found the local feeling very cosy and the food was fantastic and very affordable. His help alone made the stay memorable!
Breakfast was very good indeed, more than enough choice and it was lovely to see so much fruit to choose from as well as juices, breads, cereals and more on offer, which kept me and my partner full for hours.
For anyone looking for a very reasonably priced hotel in Paris that is clean, comfortable and has friendly staff then look no further. We are definitely visiting again!
