We stayed a month in this beautiful apartment , and we loved it.
A 16th century former convent was divided into different sizes apartments. Ours was the one bedroom (and living room), and it is very spacious and convenient for a couple.
The inside combines old woodwork and modern appliances. The stone walls are very impressive, the rooms are incredibly high, big windows to a little inner yard with flowers.
The location is the best possible for tourists: very close to the main attraction of Besancon: the citadel, and to other very interesting sites in this beautiful city.
The owner was extremely fast in fulfilling every little thing we asked for, and they have an incredible maintenance person that takes care of the place.
The owner waited for us when we arrived late at night, and helped us with our luggage up the stairs (there are quite a few). The apartment includes a line phone that enabled us to call different countries for free.
