Visiting several times a year Tours, it allows me to have some restaurante references but visiting again L'Odeon found out this time was not OK.
To start, from the wine menu choose a wine that was not available and no equivalente (rose), in a restaurante like this one ? Second, found a hair in the plate and employee reaction like nothing special !
Taking into consideration the level of price and what hapened, no, not again.

This restaurant being within walking distance of our hotel was our quick choice on the evening of our arrival in town. We were greeted and seated promptly in the front window of the restaurant and immediately had two staff members helping us order drinks. Our french is not good but we bumbled through the menu and all ordered something our server translated as "baby chicken". Had I looked properly at the word I should have seen and understood quail ! It was delicious, served with a pea puree and mushrooms. The service here is old school and very attentive.
I ordered Opera cake for dessert and another friend the cheese plate which was several generous portions of cheese from a huge choice. If ever in Tours again I would return here.

Thought we'd try out this restaurant as it was recommended in one of our travel guides. Glad we did - not as you might expect in the old quarter but easy to find location near to the station. Chose the 3 course option - every course was beautifully presented. Lobster starter was v good, my husband's fish of the day main course was outstanding and our desserts delightfully light but so lovely. We were well looked after by the very professional team. A true gourmet experience and worth the money.

like many of top rated restaurants in Tours, it's near the train station - so unprepossessing surrounding but once you are in, everything picks up. perfect service, and innovative tasty food - perhaps pricey - but the langoustine starter and the fish we had afterwards were perfectly cooked and accompanied by appropriate and enhancing sauces - never too heavy either; we walked out not feeling bloated and that we'd over eaten but satisfied totally. if you are in Tours or even nearby, go, go!!

We received a very warm welcome from the chef/prop and staff. The service was attentive without being intrusive with the preparation and source of each plat explained - and most importantly the food was superb. We opted for the set menu and added an extra cheese course which the chef served taking time to explain the origin of each of the 20 or so cheeses on offer. With wine and coffee the bill came in at just under £100 for two making it an extremely good value fine dining experience.
