Thought we'd try out this restaurant as it was recommended in one of our travel guides. Glad we did - not as you might expect in the old quarter but easy to find location near to the station. Chose the 3 course option - every course was beautifully presented. Lobster starter was v good, my husband's fish of the day main course was outstanding and our desserts delightfully light but so lovely. We were well looked after by the very professional team. A true gourmet experience and worth the money.

like many of top rated restaurants in Tours, it's near the train station - so unprepossessing surrounding but once you are in, everything picks up. perfect service, and innovative tasty food - perhaps pricey - but the langoustine starter and the fish we had afterwards were perfectly cooked and accompanied by appropriate and enhancing sauces - never too heavy either; we walked out not feeling bloated and that we'd over eaten but satisfied totally. if you are in Tours or even nearby, go, go!!

We received a very warm welcome from the chef/prop and staff. The service was attentive without being intrusive with the preparation and source of each plat explained - and most importantly the food was superb. We opted for the set menu and added an extra cheese course which the chef served taking time to explain the origin of each of the 20 or so cheeses on offer. With wine and coffee the bill came in at just under £100 for two making it an extremely good value fine dining experience.

My wife and I and another couple went to France for a gastronomical holiday. In Tours, as recommended by our hotel, we went to L'Odeon for dinner and were amazed at the unbelievable quality of the service and food and the reasonable prices. The appetizers were to die for and the main courses were simply succulent. We had a variety of selections, including Frogs legs, Lobster, Lamb, Rognons and Fish. The Chef came to the table and described the dish preparation and seasonings. What a treat! Desserts were sinful and the meal was top off with an offering of Cognac. Typically French. The experience was so terrific, that we went back the second night. Many thanks to the staff for making this one of the best food experience in our 3 weeks in France.

This place is way over priced for the quality of the food. We were there in mid June 2015. Maybe the high ratings are from an earlier management, but it was a big disappointment. The wait staff was very strange and did not make us feel welcome.

My lamb was not prepared in their kitchen, except to defrost a prepared meal. It was over salted and the sauce was obviously from a mix. It was barely edible. My husband and granddaughter had the fish which they found adequate.

The presentation on the plate was nice, but they need someone who can cook. I think you will find better tasting food in almost any bistro in Tours. Your stomach and your pocket book will thank you.
