A true delight.
A friend recommended we visit this excellent restaurant and his recommendations will always be followed in the future.
The food was excellent, the service perfect, and the surroundings a delight to eye.
We chose the 'Menu du Terraine', which offered a good choice from local specialities.
My wife started with smoked haddock, while I chose French Onion Soup (a favourite of mine). These were followed by Veal and Pork, both presented and cooked to perfection. Then they was a light cheese course, again a perfect. For desert we chose the poached pears, light and refreshing.
There was an excellent choice of wine but, as we were driving, we were limited to a glass. My wife chose a local white, which she said was excellent while I chose a St Emilion, always excellent.
