We chose this hotel for the location and price. The staff at reception were very friendly and efficient. We were allocated rooms in the annexe, which seems to be a block of flats currently undergoing renovation. The hallway was shabby and off-putting, but the room itself was spacious, comfortable and well-decorated. The bathroom was large and the shower efficient and modern.
Breakfast in the morning was fine, although there were too few members of staff on duty and they were unable to keep up with things like table-clearing. However, they were very helpful and brought everything that we asked for if we couldn't see it at the buffet.

I stayed in this hotel for few days in summer. The hotel is clean but rooms extremely small. It is close to a centre and has a garage.
For breakfast go to other place.

Hotel is conveniently located right outside the walled city. Both breakfast and parking were extra charges. WIFI was free. The room was dark and small. The bed had bed bugs that we did not realize until the next morning. We went down to the front desk and complained and they would not refund our money. The front desk attendant credited us about 40 % off the room rate. At that point we did not stay for breakfast, we just checked out and left. We expected a follow up from Best Western but never received one. Not what we would expect from an international chain. Very disappointed. Would not recommend. Would not stay there again.

This hotel is JUST outside the old center of Beaune (north gate), and not too far from the autoroute that leads north to Dijon and south to Chalon-sur-Saône. Sleeping in the annex made for peace and quiet, with a partial view of some gardens. On the whole, we were satisfied with our four nights in this Best Western hotel, but we have a few quibbles: the wi-fi did not work in the under-renovation annex to the hotel that they appear to have recently acquired; there was no list of laundry prices in the room, and we made the mistake of giving three t-shirts to be laundered without asking the cost (they were 10 euros EACH!); the breakfast staff seemed perpetually overwhelmed by the tour groups who descended on the buffet breakfast each morning, and items were frequently exhausted by the time we arrived. Parking in the underground garage is far from easy, if the only places left are the narrow ones between pillars.

Potential guests should factor in the extra costs of breakfast and parking when estimating the total cost of their stay.

Dear Madam and Sir,

Thank you for your comment on our hotel. Remarks and comments on our establishment are very important for us, and help us to do the best every day for our clients!
As you can appreciate, we have indeed recently to create new rooms which are quiet on the back of the hotel. About laundry, you normally find with your laundry bag prices of this service. I explain to housekeeper your problem to be sure that they would be vigilant next time.
Concerning breakfast, I told about your comment with my manager. He will speak about this with the person who is in charge of breakfast room to improve our service and you will not be disturbed by a possible service group.

I hope we will see you in our hotel next time you would come in Beaune! Don't hesitate to contact me directly to organize you stay, it will be a pleasure for me to propose you our best price for your stay!

Best regards,

Julie Armbruster
Front Office Manager

This hotel is well-located for exploring Beaune and surrounding wine region. The room was clean and quiet but the bed was uncomfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and gave excellent restaurant recommendations. The breakfast buffet was a good value and offered a full range of choices. However, when our US/Europe electronic adapter did not work with the hotel outlets, the hotel staff was not able to help us resolve the issue so we were left to use the one computer in the lobby with the challenge of its different keyboard.
