Excellent small hotel right on the beach. Yes, the elevator is small, as are the rooms- but both are to be expected in a boutique French seaside spot. The staff was very welcoming and helpful; the rooftop terrace was great with incredible views- ordered drinks which were brought up to us as the roof bar hadn't opened for the season. Our room was cozy but comfortable with, again, great views of the beach and the Old City. Would definitely recommend a seaside room. Breakfast was good with eggs, prosciutto, cheeses, fruit, yogurts, cereal, fresh bread & croissants. A highlight of our trip!

This hotel is rather too far out of the old town for us.
It has stunning views right on the clean sandy beach where the tide goes right out then rushes in splashing up to the boulevard.
The hotel has a small rooftop area although it was very windy when we were there.
Our sea view room was on the top floor reached by a tiny lift, and was very compact. It was clean and well equipped but very cramped. The bathroom was very small with nowhere to put personal things and our washbag.
Same problem in the room, we had to step over our suitcase on the floor.
Good breakfast and nice to have a creperie on site.
Staff very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was located overlooking the 2 mile beach, approximately 15 minutes walk to the walled city. The rooftop bar offers magnificent views and gives the hotel their USP. Despite the room being small, it was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. There was also a nice bathroom with a good shower. The wifi was free and excellent and you can get a few English channels on the TV (but we didn't spend too much time in our room!). All staff were very friendly and helped us efficiently with all queries that we had
Unfortunately, the reason I didn't give it 5*s was because of the loud noise that was made each time someone used the lift. We did notify staff of this noise and they offered us a different room but this did mean changing each night that we were there so, we just put up with it. This is by no means something that should put you off as I am sure that the management will have fixed the problem by now (it might be worth asking before you book)
Overall I would advise that this hotel is perfect for a short trip to St Malo (2-3 nights).. One tip I would give you is for breakfast, there is a lovely boulangerie 100m away (left as you leave hotel). Also, for an evening meal, a bit further than the boulangerie is La Kidygwen who offer a lovely menu at a reasonable price. Bon Voyage!

Room Tip: Road side rooms are noisier and rooms with a sea view are probably better but also come with an added expense.

The most salient tip I can note is the the address of the hotel was not recognized by our GPS, so be sure to have a map.

Our room was tiny but efficient. There is no AC and it is noisy with windows open. I booked the hotel based on the attractiveness of the rooftop view, with bar and lounging area. My expectations were met in this respect.

The hotel has great wifi, our room had a good shower. The room seemed recently remodeled but the dark halls felt oppressive.

Stayed in Saint Marlo for a couple of nights with a view of looking around the old town. A great location right next to the beach lovely views local restaurants are good, room with a Seaview was a bit small but all okay nice roof bar with great views over the town and beach. Secure underground parking a short distance away available (with a small fee) which makes parking easy. highly recommend
