“A haven in the heart of Dinan”
Reviewed 17 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We spent 6 nights in the Maison du Peintre - an adult and 2 children. It was perfect for us. Tastefully decorated and perfectly situated right in the heart of town. It was easy for us to pop out and get patisserie for breakfast, but also tucked away from the tourist throngs. It was I think the best equipped holiday rental I have ever stayed in - all the equipment was really high quality and new. The living space, though compact, is light and has a lovely view over the church and square.. Beds v comfortable. The owners were really welcoming and speedy to respond to any queries. We hope to come back.

“A hidden gem in a paradise..”
Reviewed 27 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Arriving on a Wednesday presented a busy hub of activity in the immediate vicinity, but upon entering the building a silence and peace. The apartment is exactly as the photographs project and allowed us to relax and enjoy a fantastic place. Several great restaurants and a wonderful wine shop close by, we recommend the Canterbury for an exquisite dining experience and also the cafe/pub next just along the street. A tempting book seller and a labyrinth of narrow lanes and shops to explore all within a few minutes walk. France with superb service puts England to shame, sadly. Parking is close by and secure, dont forget satnav!!

“Perfect Location”
Reviewed 9 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Perfect location--lively during the daytime, quiet at night! This beautifully furnished apartment is adjacent to the cathedral and a one minute walk from at least two bakeries and a good ice cream shop. Two sidewalk cafes--great for people watching, a cold beer or a good lunch--are just outside the front entrance. The old city wall and a myriad of half-timbered buildings make Dinan a photographer's paradise. Don't forget to visit the Tourist Office early in your stay--there is a lot to see here.
