“friendly hosts and beuatiful garden”
Reviewed 12 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Rachel and Chris live next door and are on hand to help. Rachel has created a beautiful and child friendly garden which you look out over when you open the large windows of the villa. The plumbing is good, the beds are comfortable and Dinan is just down the road. In fact lots of places are- very convenient for northern coast- St Malo, Dinard, Cancale and Mont St Michel. No hesitation in recommending Villa Fleurie which is beautifully flowery at present!

“Fabulous Easter Break”
Reviewed 14 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

I flew to Dinard with Ryanair, quick easy flight, hired a car and the property was only a 30 minute drive from the airport. The property was great, very clean and it was an ideal location to explore Brittany.
10 Minutes drive from medieval Dinan (great food market on a Thursday morning), 30 minutes from gorgeous sandy beaches. It is based in lovely countryside just a mile to the town of Evran it has bakeries (fresh baguettes and croissants every day!), butcher, banks, supermarket, petrol, bars and restaurants. Lunches are around 10 - 15 euros for 3 courses. Although the kitchen is well equipped we ate out almost every day, home made tasty meals lots of fresh seafood and steaks, it was amazing.
The beds were really comfy and the décor was beautiful the wifi worked everywhere even in the garden. The weather was fantastic (even though it was Easter) we made use of the sun loungers and BBQ.
All in all a perfect break with lots to do and sunshine to relax. Will be visiting again.

“Perfect holiday for young family”
Reviewed 16 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We stayed in La Villa Fleurie for two weeks mid-September 2014 with our son aged 2.5 years old. It really was the ideal break for us, a beautiful house and decent-sized garden in beautiful countryside.

The house came with all mod-cons and garden came equipped with trampoline, swing, slide and most important of all - a sandpit! Our son greatly enjoyed leisurely walks and bicycle trips up the neighbouring lane where a neighbour introduced us to his goat, calf, donkey and pigs! Evran the local town has everything you want without being too big and there's a lovely canal running through the village as well with plenty of boats moored in the village.

“Charming Accommodation - Perfect for families & excellent location”
Reviewed 7 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We stayed here for a week in August. We were a party of 3 adults & 3 children under 5. The house was plenty big enough for all of us with 3 big double bedrooms, an upstairs bathroom & separate shower & toilet downstairs. Rachel & Chris have thought of everything for infants & young children including stair gates, highchair, cot & toys. Not to mention the swings, slide & sandpit in the gorgeous garden - the kids had great fun playing hide & seek and chase. The location is great - a short drive to many attractions. We spent our first & last day in Dinan, a beautiful walled medieval town. We also visited Fougeres Castle, St Malo & Hunaudaye Castle - all thoroughly enjoyable days out. The hosts Rachel & Chris were lovely - very welcoming & friendly. Overall a very enjoyable holiday in a charming house.

“Perfect gite for a family holiday.”
Reviewed 23 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Set in the beautiful Brittany countryside yet within easy reach of the coastal towns and sandy beaches, this superb gite is ideal for a family holiday. We had a very warm welcome from Rachel and Chris and appreciated their help and advice on places to visit. The large enclosed garden with its slide and swing was a huge hit with the children, as were the chickens! With 3 large double bedrooms and a large lounge / diner there was plenty of room for the six of us. The Zoo at Chateau de la Bourbansais was a great day out with the grandchildren and it's just 10 minutes from the gite. For the adults there are the beautiful medieval towns of Dinan and St Malo and the scenic coastline around Cancale. Overall we had a very pleasant week in Evran and could easily have stayed longer.
