it was raining so a perfect opportunity to go inside and have a look at this cathedral and I wasn't disappointed. It was stunning. We lit a candle and took it in the awe of this building and its design and respectfully left.

Amazing Cathedral in the heart of the city of Perigueux, a beautiful city in the Dordogne, the historic city is very beautiful and clean, the buildings are excellent for photography.

This cathedral is really all about the roof as inside it's no different to a church you'd find in many small French or Belgium towns. Unfortunately you can't really see the roof! The best views are pictures that are taken from above. At night it looks better with flood lights. If you want to go to a good church I would recommend Bruges, it's full of them. This is worth a look if you've ended up in Perigeuex.

It is a large Norman basilica, with domes. It is as impressive inside as it is out. Not to be missed if you are in Perigueux.
