Arrived at a gated property and our car was removed at a cost of 15 Euro per day. Room was in a converted stable, it was warm, stuffy and there was a permanent smell that was very much like cat urine in the air. We chose to leave the window open permanently.
No food or bar service, very quick to be ushered off site by the owners. Food for breakfast was overpriced and basic to say the least. We never felt comfortable in the property and even checked out before the due time. You are probably wondering why there is such a vast difference between 5 star and 1 star reviews. I can honestly say that this B&B is dressed up to be a boutique hotel, but fails in all areas to achieve these lofty heights! Manuel as he became known, our host for breakfast summed the whole place up......its not often that hoteliers are more pleased to see you leave than arrive. Probably relieved to get the 400 Euro's they have the nerve to charge. Anyone who rates this as 4 or five stars, clearly has not travelled at all. To be fair, this is the only time I have ever left a bad review!
