Visited after reading online best places to eat for caeliacs. The gluten free peanut butter brownie was heavenly. I wish i bought some to bring home as i inhaled. Decor inside is a lot to leave the imagination and staff seemed openly shocked i only came in to get 2 brownies to go. But id go back for the food regardless

Chose this from reading previous reviews. Walked quite a long way to get here and was rather underwhelmed by the rather cold service. Nice soughdough, avocado etc but be warned they don’t have a proper kitchen so if you’re expecting to be able to order an egg, forget it and eating toast out of a bowl is an issue. I’m in Manchester for 24 hours and of all the places I’ve visited, Fig and Sparrow was without doubt the least welcoming.

A lovely friendly cafe to have a cup of coffee in and escape the November weather. It was busy, but the staff were friendly my, service was prompt and the coffee great quality. Food looked amazing, and all created efficiently in the tiny open kitchen at the back. Lovely ambience within, somewhere we could quite happily sit and watch the world go by. Highly recommended.

Had a simple breakfast of porridge and toast. Both exactly as they should be, simple and fresh both met this criteria. Cup of tea was good too.

Nice little place, with friendly staff.

Had a long black and no complaints, though wasn't blown away by it.
