After just reading the latest reviews I wonder how much overprice we really paid.. paid over 100 euros per room, breakfast included. And that was booking through Hotels.com. Otherwise I do not have any bigger issues I would like to point out, most things were positive during our one night stay in early April 2012.
We arrived early and coming in by train from Manchester airport was a good option as the Oxford Street station was close to Jurys Inn. The hotel was also kind enough to let us leave our bags there although we were much too early to check in yet.
Check in (and check out the next day) was very swift and the rooms nice and clean and with a bed I slept very good in! For a "modern" hotel like this I would have liked free Wi-Fi in the rooms and not need to pay extra for that anymore in 2012.
We ate in the bar/restaurant on the ground floor in the evening and I am afraid I can't really brag much with that. I ordered lamb kebab something and the restaurants achievement here on both taste and size left much to wish for a portion of 8 pounds.
The breakfast again next morning was quite the opposite, very plentiful and with very tasty ingredients. Only thing I could have wished for there as a foreigner would have been small signs telling what is what (they have that in many places I have seen).
Just something little extra here and I would have rated Jurys Inn 4 stars, but 3 this time for me.

We stayed at this hotel on Easter Monday 9th April, they had an offer on which was bed and breakfast for 49 pounds. This seem great to us as the location was a few minutes walk away from Deansgate where we were heading.

Firstly the room was at the end of a corridor, on the fourth floor and so had large windows on two sides of the room, over looking the trams station and surrounding area. I did wonder if there would be noise preventing me dropping off to sleep later, but it was very quiet.

The room was fine and had all you need. It was very quiet. I had no complaints. I also liked the smell of the newly laid carpets in the corridors.

We only arrived down stairs for breakfast on the last minute, served from 8 to 10.30 am, and we arrived probably at 10.30am to eat. The food that was there wasn't the best, but this could be due to us arriving at the end of allocated time. The eggs were very well done, and one of the cereals almost powder not many flakes in it. But again probably down to us arriving late.

There was parking but only at the NCP car park opposite, it took us 2 mins to get from the car park to the hotel.

I would definately stay hear again, I feel we stumbled upon a litte hidden treasure.

We didn't use the hotel bar or leisure facilities so haven't commented on these.

Literally on the doorstep of deansgate locks, this hotel is super central, clean and friendly. We had booked on Expedia on an advance purchase rate and it was definitely value for money. Would definitely stay here again. The only downfall is the lack of parking. Don't fall for the overly priced NCP which is the nearest to the hotel. Be prepared to walk an extra minute or so to the more open car park round the back which offers 24 hours for £8.50.
The staff were helpful and we would recommend this to anyone who wants a central location for a short stay in Manchester.

Just back from an overnight stay at the Jury’s Inn Manchester and from the moment we arrived we were very impressed.

The lobby area is modern and inviting and the check in was friendly and efficient. Having received our room cards, (which have to be used to gain access to the stairs and to use the lifts) , we made our way to room 137.

The room was modern, stylish and spacious with a double and single bed and all the usual features :- 32 inch Samsung LED TV. Tea and coffee making facilities, In-drawer hairdryer, telephone etc. The bathroom was modern and quite large with bath and shower and wall mounted soap and shampoo dispensers.

Breakfast the next morning was buffet style with the usual selection of bacon, sausage, fried or scrambled egg, mushrooms, hash browns and tomato etc as well as a choice of cereals, fruit, pastries and toast etc

All-in -all , a good, value-for-money hotel in an excellent city centre location with restaurants and bars all within a 10 minute walk

Had a great overnight stay at this Hotel - could not fault it for value the room was lovely and sparkling clean. The reception staff were very friendly, polite and professional especially Evie and Laura its a shame reception staff at other hotels are not as smiling and welcoming as these two. Had a great 3 course meal in the restuarant that night good choice, good portions and well presented. Full English breakfast with choice of fresh fruit to start and croisants to finish.

Thank you to the Jury's Inn for a lovely overnight stay in Manchester.
