Booked the hotel at 5:30 pm for the same evening due to the possibility of inclement weather causing problems getting to the airport and arrived there at 8:30. The place was very busy but we were checked in very quickly by a very pleasant and helpful receptionist. Our room on the 5th floor was great for a short stay. Big bed and basic amenities but no complaints as that is all you need. We didn't have breakfast as we left before service started. We paid £57 for the room and an additional £5 for overnight parking which I thought was a bit too high. Overall though no complaints and an ideal place to stay prior to jetting off somewhere.

We stayed here for one night prior to flying to Mexico. We payed £19 and £5 for the car park. We asked for a room at the top of the hotel and were put on the 6th floor. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable and extremely good value for the price. We ate in the restaurant but would strongly advice aginst the steak which was horrific!! We set off the next morning having had a good nights sleep. A good choice for anyone wanting a pre-holiday stopover on a budget.

I stayed at this hotel for a training course in Mid-January. I called the day before to ask for a top floor room as in my previous experience noise from the rooms above can be a pain and I am a light sleeper! The lady on the phone was very accommodating and said this wouldn't be a problem.

Upon arrival at the hotel there is a large car park and the other Premier Inn Manchester Airport is right opposite, albeit closer to the motorway. There is an integrated restaurant and costa coffee which was a good addition.

The check in was fairly quick, there are self service machines but I was served by a lady who was very helpful, note you have to pay for your parking which I think was £5 per day and 24 hours internet is £3 which is very reasonable.

The first room I was allocated was fine, a good size, clean and the bathroom was also of a high standard. The only problem was that it was on the airport side, and although I expected some noise it was just too noisy for me, other people with higher tolerance to noise probably won't be bothered by it but I was and asked to be moved to a room on the other side. Again the hotel were very accomodating, I was moved across the corridor no problem at all. The room was an identical layout and much quieter which was perfect.

I experienced no issues with noise from other guests or from the motorway and slept soundly both nights.

I also dined in the restaurant for dinner the first evening and breakfast both mornings, the menu is good and the restaurant is very well maintained and welcoming. The breakfast as with all premier inns is a good selection and good food to set you off for the day.

I would highly recommend this hotel for any travellers, people on business and even if you just need to be near Manchester for any other reason. Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Choose a top floor room on the car park side to minimise any noise!

My wife and I stayed here in January before our long haul flight. We take a view in winter that we like to be close to the airport in case there is any bad weather rather than travel on the morning. We were flying around 9am so with check in we left the hotel in plenty of time. We found a deal for this hotel and 17 days car parking at Q Parks for around £95 which we felt was a really great deal.
Our only real issue was actually finding the hotel as we dont have satnav. It is only about 400 yards from the Marriott Four Seasons roundabout and just through the crossroads as you come off the motorway. The electronic reception didnt work so we had to be manually checked in, however the receptionist was very friendly.
The room was good and clean, and it is in a quiet spot. We didnt sleep particularly well but only because high winds made a lot of noise that night, certainly very comfy and suitable to stay prior to a holiday.
We also ate a meal there and again the food was good, the bar pleasant afterwards. Then in the morning we drove the 2 minutes down the road to the Q Park and on to the airport.
Great deal and recommended for the purpose, we will use them again.

Had a great night stay w'end of 4/2/12. Reception staff during the day fantastic A+++, night receptionist booked taxi for morning instead of night making us late and then was sending us to the airport instead of another address. Tried to get dinner and the waitress was rude and very obnoxious, ended up having a bowl of soup which I had to wait ages for - not enough staff on in the bar and one poor girl on the coffee bar having to do everything.
Room was comfortable and clean

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor eg 6th as it is quieter. remember though this is a cheap hotel near...
