I had a lovely 4 days at rundle cottage with My sister. It was a very nice experience and I can highlight the beds and the linen as being excellent and very comfortable. My sister slept in one of the front rooms and she said it was quite noisy at night. Perhaps double glazed windows should be put on the front facing bedrooms. I think more instructions should be provided on various appliances. Particularly the tv and the Wifi. It is well equipped and has a very pleasant feel about it. Matches would be good!
Lovely cottage, but stairs are steep. The shower in the on suite was the smallest cubicle I have ever seen. Parking is a bit of an issue and speed of traffic passing the cottage in the early hours was dreadful.
The above comments are based on fact that my mother who is in her 80s was with us so it was more of an issue.
A wonderful olde world cottage, warm and cosy with everything you need and you can walk to the shops and pubs. Would highly recommend
We stayed here with another couple for a week in September, the cottage is beautiful and comes complete with everything you need for a comfortable break.
The local pub 'The Volunteer' is just perfect, it's very welcoming and the curry house behind is lovely.
The town is stunning. We ate out in several places and couldn't fault any of them. Our favourite was Michael's Mediterranean.
The managers Andy and Sarah were really kind and helpful, and even Arnold the labrador enjoyed it.
