“Rundle cottage.”
Reviewed 4 October 2018 for a stay in September 2018

I had a lovely 4 days at rundle cottage with My sister. It was a very nice experience and I can highlight the beds and the linen as being excellent and very comfortable. My sister slept in one of the front rooms and she said it was quite noisy at night. Perhaps double glazed windows should be put on the front facing bedrooms. I think more instructions should be provided on various appliances. Particularly the tv and the Wifi. It is well equipped and has a very pleasant feel about it. Matches would be good!

“Nice cottage in lovely location”
Reviewed 9 August 2018 for a stay in July 2018

Lovely cottage, but stairs are steep. The shower in the on suite was the smallest cubicle I have ever seen. Parking is a bit of an issue and speed of traffic passing the cottage in the early hours was dreadful.
The above comments are based on fact that my mother who is in her 80s was with us so it was more of an issue.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review following your stay at Rundle Cottage, Chipping Campden with Honeypot Cottages.

We make ourselves available for all guests who may have any questions regarding any of our 16 cottages. If we believe there may be any issues at all with regards to access (whether it be stairs or showers etc), we are happy to discuss cottages and facilities in depth before bookings are accepted. The en-suit has a standard sized shower - not a large cubicle.

The cottage is road side with parking on the opposite side of the road which means cars pass on the cottage side of the road. The road is quite narrow and so speed is limited to a degree (the road has a 30mph speed limit). That said...speeding traffic is an issue country wide and we do also find this frustrating! The road itself is one of 4 roads into the town. You have to go off the beaten track to visit Chipping Campden so there is not a huge volume of traffic passing however everyone has different expectations and tolerances of course and we appreciate that whilst not everybody wants a road side cottage...some guests are happy to accept there will be a little noise in exchange for a cottage close to the high street and facilities.

If there are no spaces opposite the cottage, there are plenty of spaces within a 1 minute walk. There are also several 'spaces / gaps' opposite the cottage where there are lanes / driveways / lines which allow guests to park close by, take belongings into and out of the cottage before finding a space nearby.

Thank you once again for taking the time to review your stay.

“Simply lovely”
Reviewed 28 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We stayed here with another couple for a week in September, the cottage is beautiful and comes complete with everything you need for a comfortable break.

The local pub 'The Volunteer' is just perfect, it's very welcoming and the curry house behind is lovely.

The town is stunning. We ate out in several places and couldn't fault any of them. Our favourite was Michael's Mediterranean.

The managers Andy and Sarah were really kind and helpful, and even Arnold the labrador enjoyed it.
