This is quite a new minster, nice but cannot be compared to a Cathedral. It's Worth a visit if you are in Doncaster on a daytrip.
It worked well to cross the road from the shopping streets and reach the minster from there.

If visiting Doncaster this is a must if you love architecture and history. If you get a chance to attend a service please do, it's lovely.

Thank you for your lovely comments about the Minster. We enjoy meeting people who come to look round, or just want a quiet space to gather their thoughts or offer a quiet prayer and we certainly welcome anyone to join us for worship on Sundays or during the week.

The Minster is a really lovely church, very peaceful even though it was being decorated with greenery for Advent. Well worth a visit to see all the beautiful stained glass windows.

This church in Doncaster was where my mum married in just after world war II.

This is one of two rarely highlighted beautiful churches which Doncaster has to offer. Attractive architecture and still not too bad a setting.
