Decided to bring the family to Cusworth hall to the museum and review at the same time. Parking is pay and display, but the takings go towards the restoration and upkeep of the hall, which is good. We had our wedding photos done here 28 years ago so it was nice to put the grandkids in the same spot as ours for photos. It was as I remember very interesting to see the old Hall. Entry is FREE! There was a video playing about the halls occupancy which we thoroughly enjoyed. Lots to see, lots to do. Nice walk down to the lakes too. Good disabled access even in hall (lift). There's a cafe located on the side of the hall too. Adjacent the hall is a kids adventure playground.....ideal for them to burn off any excess energy!
Lovely Day out.

Dear Vulcan Reviews 0

Many thanks for your excellent review of Cusworth Hall and Park. WiFi was installed at the Hall a few months ago, apart from in the area outside the Chapel, so we are interested that you didn't seem to be able to use it. We will check that the system is working.

Easy to park and very affordable £2.20 for 4 hours.
Helpful staff
Excellent tea room for refreshments if required.

House is very well laid out for a good look out. There's lots to see and learn and you take take a little or a lot of time as required.

The grounds are very good but suggest going on a good clear day to make the most of the beautiful views.

Great place to take family out. You don't have to visit the house if you don't want to. You can just enjoy the gardens.

I'd recommend this place.

Thank Mike H

Had our wedding vows at Cusworth Hall in the Grand Saloon.
Everything we asked for was done and the staff were all great with us. Early photos look amazing and we can’t wait to see the rest.

This is a great home to visit and only asks for a donation. Interesting house with lovely architectural detail and interesting displays in the rooms. Cusworth Hall was a family home up until the 1950's and is not on the scale of Stately Homes so don't miss it because you think it is a day trip, although I'm sure you could spend most of the day if you explore the grounds too. A lovely house.

A stunning country mansion set in a beautifully landscaped park. This place offers everyone a perfect relaxing setting, wether it's a stroll through wooded areas or a walk around the lake and pristine gardens.
The museum offers a very interesting insight into the local history of Cusworth Hall and Doncaster industry.
