“Very good location, very good clean comfy apartment”
Reviewed 17 December 2015 for a stay in December 2015

I stayed with two young children, age 3 and 4. There was a secure baby gate at the top of the stairs (lounge and kitchen upstairs, two bedrooms two bathrooms downstairs). The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. The owner who met us to hand over keys and parking permit for the street outside was very friendly and helpful. We'll be back, thank you very much.

“Location,location,location”

Just spent two weeks at the Bairstow street apartment. Location is excellent as just about everything of interest in Preston is within walking distance including the train and bus stations if you want to take day trips. Apartment was clean and comfortable . Parking is minimal on a very narrow street and if you are staying for two weeks as I was , perhaps a change of linens would have been warranted as part of the rental..There were adequate pots and pans but if you have a few friends in for some drinks there are just 4 wine glasses and 5 water glasses .overall I would recommend it as a place that is convenient, comfortable and reasonably priced .

“A home far from home”
Reviewed 4 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

For 2 weeks the apartment in Bairstow St has recently been ‘our home far from home’ and we really enjoyed it. The apartment is large and confortable (and we have particularly appreciated the possibility to heat it in some cold autumn evenings). It is part of a typical Georgian terraced house in exposed red brick, set in a characteristic residential area of early 19th. The neighbourhood has a calm domestic atmosphere, enriched by the proximity of beautiful green areas – Winckley Square garden as well as the large Avenham and Miller Parks on Ribble River.
The city centre (with the main shopping streets, supermarkets, public institutions, bus stations) is reachable by a short walk and so is the University of Central Lancashire. Several good restaurants are roundabout. The Railway Station is also at walking distance.
Last but not least, Zulf is a charming and reliable person - precise, friendly and helpful.

“excellent hidden gem in city centre”
Reviewed 1 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

What a great property and great owner, lovely clean property with everything you need along with added extras to keep kids amused, games dvds etc . 5 minutes walk to town, 2 mins to local shop, parking no problem and for somewhere so central it was lovely and quiet. i cannot recommend this property enough and would not book anywhere else when visiting preston next time. A*****
