This hotel is well located for touring. The room is lovely and large, well fitted out. Decent parking, but gets very busy. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The only downside is the shower. It comes out as a drizzle and it’s difficult to get enough water out of it to wash your hair. The staff was very friendly.

The Staff are superb, the room is great, comfortable bed ... although the pillows are a bit hard so I had 3 and that was OK. Big TV, Black out curtains work a treat so I slept very well and very long!!!

Room Tip: I was at the back and it was really quiet.

Clean with a nice big flat screen TV.Good value for money, but impossible to adjust the air con thermostat and no shaving point - must be the only hotel chain not to have them. The attached Beefeater served a dreadful dinner - cold with awful steak, although breakfast was good.

Even if it is an "old" Premier Inn, rooms are large and well arranged. Rooms are also clean and ours was very quiet (at the back, we could sleep with an open window, no problem of noise).
All staff were very friendly and helpful.
There is very large parking and its location is ideal due to its proximity with motorways as well as with the city center.
A lift for the first floor whould be nice when you have large luggage ;-)
Cooked breakfasts at the Beefeater are good (despite some shortages in viennoiseries if you arrive after 9:30) and if you don't envoy evening meals there, there is another restaurant nearby.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are quieter.

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was quiet at the back of the hotel and quite comfortable. Blocked wash basin quickly fixed. Bathroom fan noisy and no means to turn off overnight.
We booked 2 evening meals and 2 full breakfasts. It was evident that service was poor as soon as we entered the Beefeater. Complaints of long waits and incorrect orders. Part of our order was also incorrect. We went to Nando's nearby on the second evening and cancelled our cooked food at the Beefeater. Breakfast at the Beefeeater on first morning was ok but the cooked food took over 40mins to arrive with a lame excuse and some was cold. We just had the self serve on the second morning. No refund was offered. Beefeaters are rubbish in most places but sadly we did not know who the food providers were beforehand.
The food at Nando's was superb!
Avoid Beefeater restaurants.
