My husband stayed at this property on June 27-28, 2018. There was construction work everywhere and it took him several runs around the service area even to find the hotel. The entrance and parking area were covered in workmen, roadway disturbed and security fencing everywhere. Reception was OK he thought at the time (but not now) and the room was average for this kind of property - the bare minumum. Reception was not staffed 24/7 so he was not able to get any help later. He left the next morning thinking all was well but now, a few weeks later the visit cames back to bite him - a charge through the car rental company for a hefty parking fine! (and admin costs additional)The property advertises free parking and this is what you get! Not thinking of going back!!

Room Tip: Avoid the place when construction work is in progress

Used for 6 days while we was working nights in the area so used for sleeping during the day, good stay very comfortable beds great hot shower, only problem is the tv lol loads of channels break up on free.view disturbing watching tv. All the girls on reception.
where very nice indeed as we was sleeping daytime none of cleaners disturbed us, and if we wanted cleans towels top up tea coffee sugar reception had no problem giving us, mc donalds and roadcheft across the way for food, overall very good stay.

Nice and clean, would be great to stay any other time apart from a heat wave. One window that only opened a inch or two. We found it way too hot in the room and left a day early. Could really do with Air con. Any other time of the year would be great, just not when it’s hot.

Had a one night stay here, good value for money and very good location next to the Services, handy to have a McDonalds for the morning or late night.
Room was very clean, comfortable bed, a fan was provided for the heat we've been having lately.
There was a coffee pod machine with a complimentary coffee pod each. The room is a very good size. No distractions while sleeping. Staff were friendly. All good and would definitely return.

We stayed here as we were going to the Leeds castle classical concert. Even though we arrived just after 1pm we were able to check in, they were working hard to get rooms ready. Polite helpful receptionist. The room was clean, nothing special but it was cheap and somewhere to sleep for the night.The bathroom had soap despensers in the shower and sink. It's just under 2 miles from Leeds castle, not an ideal or safe route to walk in the dark.
Service station has a McDonald's, Costa, wh smiths and another food outlet so handy for breakfast or late night snack
