Made our 2nd visit to this restaurant this week and, again, left very impressed. It's a attractive place where the welcome and service are first class. The menu is extensive and the thing that impressed us most was that they listen to what you ask for.

My wife and I like extremely spicy food but, despite asking, most places just will not make it hot enough. This was not the case at Siam Balcony and we got the desired burn!! We shared a laab to start (spicy pork mince salad from the north of Thailand I believe) and than 2 excellent main courses.

My only concern (and the reason a 5 wasn't awarded) is that I feel the prices a little too high for a place like Horwich. They're very similar to Manchester levels (main courses up to £16 and Carlsberg at £4.20 per pint) and may be they need to look at that to ensure high throughput.

Other than that, we had a lovely evening and our next visit will be very soon.

This was our first trip to this restaurant but it won't be our last. For simplicity we had a set menu. The food was great and beautifully presented. Well worth the money.

The service was excellent and we were made at ease very quickly. All of our requests were attended to by a team with a great sense of humour.

We were there on a Friday of a bank holiday weekend and were very surprised that the restaurant was not full

A great night out, we will be back

Just got back from our first visit to this restaurant and it was absolutely wonderful . From the warm friendly welcome to the beautifully designed interior and then the amazing food it was just a cannot fault experience .
We had a shared platter starter which came beautifully decorated with carved carrot and swede flower , very pretty . All the food was fresh and of high quality . We had a main meal each and the portions were huge , again so so tasty .
We spoke to "Thom" the lady owner who was very friendly and offered advice on our dishes for next time , she really could not do enough for us .
We were offered complimentary ice cream and drinks after our meal which was a very nice touch .
So pleased to have such a wonderful Thai restaurant so close to home and we are going to spread the word about this hidden gem .
There is a £12.95 3 course menu option as a taster if you do not want the a la carte menu which is really good value .
Can definitely recommend , we will be back very soon .

What can I say: having heard some great comments about this restaurant, we decided to give it a try last sunday (12th May) - it was EXCELLENT.
From the warm greeting as we entered, to the time we left, the whole experience was amazing.
We are quite novice at Thai food but was given lots of advice to help us choose & guided to what would be most suitable for the children we had with us.
The food was freshly prepared & despite being on the special menu, the presentation was beautiful and all course were fabulous & plentiful.
Can't praise it highly enough & can't wait to go back again (& we did go again last Thursday!).
10/10.
Prices vary from the special menu to the a-la-carte.
