I stayed here for 4 nights in January with my husband. I had a work event to attend in Telford during the week and we decided to extend the visit till Sunday so we could explore Ironbridge and the Shropshire countryside.
"The Stables" is a beautiful place. Set aside from the main house, clean, comfortable, and really, really pretty. We loved the loft ladder! Nadine took our booking and even checked our favourite brand of tea (a nice touch). We arrived late, were shown around the property, given a lovely bottle of wine, and then left in peace.
The bed was lovely, high, comfortable. Lounge has comfy sofas and blankets. Shower room clean and there is heated flooring (always nice).
Our only struggle was the lack of internet connection. I think if you're going out a lot this isn't an issue (and there are lots of leaflets etc so you don't necessarily need to google things) but if you're there on a work trip and need to access your emails, finding the spot by the lounge window where you can get 3g on your phone is quite a challenge!
We've already recommended the place to others and would definitely return to escape from it all!

I stayed here for 3 nights over New Year and got exactly what I wanted, a lovely place to stay with plenty of Peace and quiet. The owner Nadine is a lovely lady and can't do enough for you. Its out in the countryside in a small village but also handy for Telford and Shrewsbury and lots of sites nearby too. A great place for couples I would say.
