Lovely room , temp just right , quick check in , only down fall is it was let down by the breakfast at this hotel , totally different from other premier inns we have stayed at , it was buffet style which was fine but the serving area was so small , we had to wait for food to be brought out which took ages so as the other food on our plates were cold , the plates were not warm to begin with , we were told as soon as we got in there that there was no pastries and this was only at 10 am , nothing seemed organized drinks over one side cereals over another side cooked food over another it was a very disappointed start to our day ,this is at the moment the poorest breakfast we have had at a premier inn some of the staff looked like they didn't want to be there not smiling looked totally fed up, the evening meal was totally different it was perfect staff very friendly and welcoming food arrived very quickly & hot cooked perfectly , I have given a rating for service as poor reason for that is the breakfast but service for evening meal was excellent.

I stay in Premier Inn’s a lot, about 20 a year and you come to expect a set standard but this hotel was the noisiest I have ever stayed in. Being kept awake by someone snoring down the corridor is just not on, and you can hear every foot step taken by seemingly anyone walking on your floor.
I also really like the buffet breakfast, it starts my day off so when you have to eat in the pub opposite and clearly the breakfast seems to be a very half hearted system that doesn’t flow. The lady serving the breakfast didn’t want to be there and I like to pick which bits I want ( sounds petty but I travel a lot and these things matter !!) all in all I’ll stay over the road next time I’m around here

One night here on way home to staffs, chosen for ideal location to see Sisters for lunch at Wooten Bassett. Nice staff, welcoming. Room as always clean, shower good (new hotels power not so good but possible to do with water board?). Breakfast @ beefeater, well shocked. Dinner was good and although very busy good service. Remember to get parking ticket at reception

This Premier Inn hasn’t been refurbished in the new style, but it is better for it. There is a traditional reception desk, but the best bit is that the windows in the bedrooms open AND there is a decent Mitsubishi air conditioning unit bolted onto the wall (much better than the normal Premier Inn air con.) As usual the room was clean with just enough space for 2 adults, 2 children and a travel cot. Downsides were that the sink drained VERY slowly and that there was no Gideon bible in the room.

Room Tip: Don’t forget to get a free car park pass from reception instead of feeding money into the Pay and Display machine.
