Stunning accommodation, finished to a very high standard. The garden is tranquil and there is an outside games area too, which is fun. Great location too, easy to get to lovely market towns and spa towns. You do need a car. Annabel, the owner is very welcoming. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely lovely. The barn is so spacious and finished off to a very high spec. The games room and bamboo garden really make it stand out from other places!
Great to meet Annabel and thank you to you both for all your hard work, we really made the most of it!
We can’t wait to come back. We loved our stay!

We enjoyed our short stay at Tynnings Barn and would definitely recommend it. The games area (pool table, table tennis, darts) provided lots of family fun for all four of us. The cottage was comfortable and furnished to a high specification. Facilities include three TVs, a powerful shower, comfortable beds, and kitchen with boiling water tap, microwave and electric oven. It was lovely to find some wine and cookies provided on arrival, and Annabel was happy to get us some extra towels too. We also enjoyed exploring the unusual bamboo garden.
We were so pleased we booked Tynings Barn with Annabel & Mark. The property has been done to a very high standard with everything you could need for a comfortable stay away. Even small details, like a decent set of kitchen knives, make a massive difference in self-catering and it was these touches that make Tynings Barn stand out from other properties we have stayed in. There is also a built-in dishwasher and modern hob and oven for cooking.
Although we stayed as a couple there would have been plenty of room for a family of four without getting under each other's feet all the time.
There is a games room just opposite the barn with darts, table tennis and a pool table which has a bottle fridge (very useful) and plenty of seating for al fresco dining. Annabel & Mark couldn't have been more accommodating when we asked if friends could join us one evening - perfect as we were very lucky with the weather!
There is also a bamboo garden to explore - but, sadly, no Pandas.
The location is ideal for exploring the south Cotswolds (including Cirencester, Gloucester and Cheltenham) and you can also easily head west into Herefordshire and down to the Forest of Dean, Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth. All of which are well worth a visit. We would recommend Puzzlewood if you get the chance.
There is also a really nice farm shop (Over Farm Market) just down the road from Tynings Barn, in case you need some provisions for an evening meal and don't fancy the Sainsbury's in Gloucester.
Massive thank you to Annabel & Mark, we had a lovely time and hope to return to Tynings Barn soon.
A perfect location for a peaceful break, but still near to the amenities of Gloucester, and a short drive to the Forest of Dean. The house itself was beautiful, comfortable and well equipped with everything you would need and more..including a pool table, dart board and table tennis. In the evening the surroundings are almost silent, in the morning when you open the door there is birdsong from the adjacent bamboo garden. The garden is lovely for a stroll especially if you have brought along your dog. Its bigger than you might imagine and leads out to a large field.
We will be recommending this place to family and friends. Thank you Annabel and Mark for letting us visit.
