First off, let me be fair by saying that Sandra and all the other employees we encountered were absolutely delightful, and the price here is fair. However, this property was without question the most filthy hotel I have ever stayed in. The tables in the restaurant were not wiped down, our meal was served on dishes that were coated in a film that left us with the idea that they'd been sent through the wash but not rinsed. Cobwebs hung in most every corner of the ceiling, pretty much every surface possible looked as though it had not been thoroughly wiped down in many months. And, the walls are paper thin, we could hear conversation in the next room and every door that opened and closed on our floor outside our room. I would not recommend staying here when so many other options are available.

Just had a lovely night in the Woodlands Waterford, clean, friendly staff, especially Sandra in reception...... they made an error in pricing the room and stood by it, couldn't fault them for customer service.

Stayed here with a one night B&B voucher. Lovely hotel, great heat everywhere. Reception staff lacked interest? did not explain where breakfast was served etc. The bar is really good, bar food really well presented, tasty and v good value. Would come back for this alone. Breakfast area was lacking on the staff front. When we arrived at 9am for breakfast,no staff, No glasses for juice left, no dinner plates, no fresh fruit, only tinned. We liked the idea of making your own toast and heating your croissants. We liked the way the hot food buffet was covered to keep food warm. Fried eggs were not replaced for other guests, although we saw chef out checking on supplies, luckily we had got ours. Food was good. Just read other review now with the same complaint of lacking staff.
Suggestion, have a staff member on duty in dinning room and not leave it unmanned, otherwise, have a tea/coffee machine available to make your own!

Stayed at the hotel for one night over Saint Patricks week end.
The hotel was very busy with the celebration for Saint Patricks Day but Sandra was still providing a very good service and nothing was too much trouble for her she provides all the help we needed and handled our requests in a very professional manner, we will be back.

Room Tip: We have stayed at the hotel before and have found the rooms very comfortable on each visit

Just back from this hotel. Had a great time. Very impressed with bedroom tea and coffee, toiletries etc. Lovely breakfast only thing lacking was brown bread. We had a dinner in the restaurant which was fabulous. Leisure centre was lovely, towels were supplied. Bar was nice and friendly good music. Try to get a room at the front, on seccond floor not as noisy when theres a wedding.

Room Tip: Look for aroom at the front on second floor if theres a wedding on, much quieter.
