We had an excellent friendly welcome at An Cruisin Lan in Sligo from Liam and Geraldine McGettigan - well equipped rooms, great breakfasts too - you could have as healthy as you liked or the full Irish. We stayed 4 days and didn't want to leave. It's central for everything in Sligo - the river, great pubs + music, shops, tourist office and theatre etc. They even laid on sunshine for us!

Hi Barharb,
Thank you for staying with us & we appreciate your positive comments.
You probably availed of our long term stay, without breakfast, which works out at very good value.

An Cruiscin Lan was a convenient spot for our one night in Sligo. Clean and serviceable, fairly good breakfasts. Liam pointed us to a good pub for dinner. Onsite parking was a plus!

We arrived in Sligo later than we had planned due to our visit to Carrowkeel Megalithic Cemetery made all the more magical due to the unseasonal hail and heavy rain which miraculously cleared just in time for our visit.
Our good fortune was no doubt due to the intervention on our behalf by Philomena the receptionist who smiled beatifically at me as I stumbled in through the door with my excuses.
We were greeted warmly by Liam and Geraldine who are the most wonderful hosts.Kind and cheeerful and very efficient, nothing was too much trouble to ensure that we had a comfortable stay.We have long wanted to visit Sligo, and when I was doing my research I was happy to find an old inn the centre of town, and I wasn't disappointed. My husband, sister and I enjoyed our comfortable rooms and delicious breakfasts. We were grateful for the free internet service and the good recommendations for dinner. Hargadon Bros and Fidler's Creek served excellent food and good service and had a good ambience.
We LOVED Sligo and all its historical and cultural charms, but the greatest plus of all was meeting Liam and Geraldine. Iam sorry that I have taken so long to write this review, but our 3 months long journey overseas has taken a little time to get us resettled at home. Thank you, and we hope that we meet again. Kind Regards from Jennifer, Juris and Pat.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms have an ensuite, but the shared bathrooms are fine. Email Liam directly if you are...
