We have just returned after five wonderful days in Hotel Westport Room Lovely. Food beautiful. Staff excellent We are both in our mid 60s and we were so well looked after. See you next year.

Room Tip: Prem rooms are a little extra but well worth it.

We upgraded to a premier room. Well worth it..although the original rooms have been re.fitted with new bathrooms and are very nice indeed! We personally love the professional manner of this hotel and the effort taken to ensure your stay is as good as can be. We did miss the little extras like slippers and bottled water.. But overall hotel westport nailed it

We booked in for christmass at hotel westport and we were meet with a warm welcome from all the staff, there was many activites fo young and old people to do. The room was top class.
The food was outstanding everynight that we ate in the restaraunt ,the hotel ran a bus services from the hotel to the church for mass with was handy.
The services was brilliant and it was great to see the manager of the hotel there on christmas eve and day to wish us all a Happy Christmass.
If any one is planning on going away for christmass i would highly recomend this hotel as it runs one of the best Christmass programs ive seen in a long time

We recently booked Hotel Westport after reading reviews on tripadvisor and due to its 4 star standard for a weekend break but were extremely disappointed. The hotel in my opinion is more 3 star than 4 star and the room we stayed in was rather dated. We may have been unfortunate in our room location on the ground floor but from early morning till late night kids were running wild up and down the corridor and gathering in the hall ways. The hotel also states that kids are not allowed in the bar after 8pm but this clearly was not the case with children running about well into the night. It is certainly not a hotel for a romantic break or indeed a restful time. In fact on the Sunday morning (9.15am) we even had a knock on the door from the Panda club looking for someone to join their morning activites. We ate in the restaurant on one evening but it was very disappointing. Breakfast was adequate although on the first morning a power cut in the hotel meant sitting in darkness with limited availability on food and no coffee. Despite the number of staff in the restaurant there clearly was no organisation of the team in the restaurant for either evening meals or breakfast service with very poor service. Fortunately on our last night in Westport we booked into another 4 star hotel which clearly was everything we expected and if we were to return it would be to this hotel rather than Hotel Westport.

Arrived in westport for a weekend break with my wife and had no problem finding this hotel. Check in was brisk with no problem's. we had a room on the first floor overlooking the front car park near the entrance to the hotel. Room was average size with lovely comfy bed. Flat screen tv was a little small about 20" but was adequete for us. The room was nice and warm. The bar area in the hotel is nice with a very large seating area with projector tv which was great for watching football etc. Only thing missing at night was some music even if it were someone playing a piano. We walked into westport town for the entertainment. The best place for a session is Bohan's bar on the octogon where they have a great night only on Saturday's its a free for all with ceili music and whoever feels like singing can join in from wherever they are seated. The food at the hotel westport was fine. My wife is very fussy and for the first time in a long while finished all the course's of the dinner and had great praise for the food. Service was good and with a smile. No noise at night time so we had two great nights sleep. Breakfast was served up until 11am which was good if you wanted to lie in for a little while. Overall we had a great time at this hotel and will return again at a later date.

Room Tip: We had room 502 which was fine with no noise from outside
