Cristy and his wife were the greatest hosts. He provided us with many ideas on things to do in the area. They were very friendly and treated you as family. The breakfast was the best of the trip with a little more variety than most B&B's. We were supposed to stay at another B&B and due to overbooking we were sent to Adare House. So glad they did!!

Margaret greets you at the door with a hearty Irish welcome. The rooms were neat and tidy and well appointed and there was a common room on the upper floor with a great view. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices.

The Adare B&B has the amenities of a hotel (hairdryers, coffee/tea in the room, breakfast menu with choices, guest lounge), combined with the personal touches that one expects from a B&B. The view of Croagh Patrick from the rooms and the dining room is like a postcard. The town of Westport is a 10-minute walk or 2-minute drive.
I feel bad for anyone who stays here first, because it will raise your expectations and make other B&Bs pale in comparison.

Room Tip: The back of the house faces the mountains

Great rooms, breakfast fantastic and Margaret and Christy very welcoming hosts. Full of local knowledge of places to visit (especially Achill Island) and excellent places to eat and drink. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was nice, location to town was good, staff friendly enough. Room should not be made into a rental as it was very tiny and the bathroom would be too small for a six year old. Should be an office or maybe a room for the dog. Very disappointed.

Room Tip: Do not stay in very tiny room unless you are very tiny
