Booked to stay in The Savoy last minute and got a great deal. We were met by Christie, the duty manager who gave us such a lovely warm welcome. Checked in very swiftly and earlier then check in time. Room was on the 6th floor. Nice big clean room with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Big enough for my husband, my 5 month old and myself with plenty of room! Spotless bathroom with Milton Brown products and a gorgeous rainfall shower. Had lunch in the hotel bar, the staff were, again, so friendly and professional, Mario in particular. Turn down service was a nice little touch, offering to fill the ice bucket in your room and chocolates. Our 5 month old wasn't playing ball so dinner in the restaurant wasn't an option. Opted for room service and I can honestly say it was one of the nicest steaks I've ever had, cooked to perfection (medium). Restaurant quality served to the room. Breakfast is the best breakfast you'll get in a hotel. The continental choices are endless, the most delicious fresh fruit, warm pastries, breads, Bircher muesli, cereals, meats and cheeses to name a few and a very substantial menu to order cooked breakfast from with great variation from fish to steak, pancakes to the full fry and the usual eggs and avo! Couldn't fault it. Staff were lovely too! I stayed here a few years ago and it was just as perfect then. The only negative thing I'd have to say is that for a 5 star it might need a lick of paint and an upgrade of some of the furniture in the room but I think the price reflects this. The service, the food and the staff are most definitely 5 star. Looking forward to a return visit already!

Our room was beautiful, the bed was huge and so comfortable.
The breakfast here was gorgeous. We also ate in the Hamptons restaurant in the hotel. The food was delicious.
There is a small pool in the hotel too.
Overall we loved our stay here and hope to return soon

Spent a week while working in Limerick. Central location was great for restaurants and bars and to stroll along the Shannon. Room had everything I needed and was large and comfortable. There was a bit of street, corridor and delivery noise despite being on the 7th floor. Room was too warm as often for a large hotel despite it being January. Staff helpful, friendly and polite. Maintenance/decor not quite tip-top

We stayed in the Savoy on Thursday 1st of February for 1 night. We arrived and were given an upgrade to a beautiful corner room with spectacular views. Reception was friendly and efficient, room very comfortable, dinner in the hamptons was beautiful and breakfast gorgeous. There was an American girl with blond hair who looked after us for breakfast and her manner was lovely she even let me bring muffins home because I was too full to eat them. Nothing was a problem. It's always the little things that you remember. Overall we were really really impressed. It wasn't our first visit and it won't be our last. On top of all that it was great value for money. We are going home happy and relaxed and can't wait for the next trip

Beautifully presented nice venue with attentive staff. really enjoyed the sandwiches and the Scones but the cakes were very disappointing overly sweet and felt mass produced. Could not fault the quantities but personally would prefer more sandwiches and less cake. I wouldn't have it again.
