“Very good value.”
Reviewed 11 December 2011

The leisure centre which has almost everything is included in the price. The full breakfast was above average and room was spacious.
As you can expect in such a large hotel, quietness at night, especially in the Xmas party season can be problematic.
It can be blamed on the staff or management, just on hotel type.

positives: dinner was lovely, and nice house wines!! wedding on and was not impacting on the other guests. breakfast was fine not spectacular but ok. I booked an indian head massage and it was a good treament in pleasent surroundings.
Negative: was actually more like a 3 k walk into the centre. shower in the room ws hit and miss and on the Sunday had to wait hours for a luke warm shower, person came to room and said he would come back as only cold water 2 hours later still no sign of him, he may still be in the boiler room!!
It was mid term and the pool was packed with kids so didn't use it.
lots of codenstion on windows and room did smell a bit.

unable to change tempreture in the room and the heating was off when we arrived and it was cold.

Room Tip: Ask for end of corridor for quiter stay

We booked for a four-night 'Dancing for Pleasure' break and from the moment we arrived, we found no fault. It was fantastic value and our days were filled with dance lessons and visits to the spa to ease our aching bones, having danced each night away! The food was great and service wonderful. Having travelled extensively, it is a pleasure to report that we found the best hotel we have visited, in our own country. Do you know what made it so? THE SUPERB STAFF! The friendliness, yet utmost professionalism, was wonderful to experience. THANK YOU EVERYONE AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Room Tip: Request the back of the hotel if you want to sleep through the night. Otherwise, go to the bar until...

This is our second time staying at the Springhill Court Hotel. We stayed for two nights during the Halloween mid-term. Our kids loved the kids club which runs daily and especially the big Halloween party which they held in there main ballroom. There was a disco, goody bag on arrival and two large bouncing castles and was supervised excellently by there leisure club staff. There was also food provided for the adults. The hotel is nice with a spacious lobby and to relax. The bedrooms are a bit dated but are clean. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and that was lovely. They have a lovely clean and bright leisure club and going by people we met the staff are there a long time which is a plus. Overall an enjoyable stay

I stayed at this hotel with my mam and 2 kids for a 2 night mid-term break. Our room was tiny, we could barely move, also it was bulit on a slope so everytime my son stood at a certain point in the room he fell over! The room was spotless clean but had very bad lighting. On our second night the radiator outside our room burst and the entire corridor was destroyed, carpets were soaking wet! The food was poor both in the bar and the resaurant. My daughter loved the kids club and we all enjoyed the pool and the staff were very friendly, but the actual hotel is very dated with old carpets and bumpy corridors, we needed a break after staying here. Definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel, especially not room 210.......
