“Best food in Ireland”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 March 2012

We were so lucky to stumble upon this cafe when our mechanic (fixing our flat) suggested it. The cafe was intimate and bright. The lunch menu was quite diverse. My club sandwich on ciabatta bread was fantastic and my sister got the butternut squash risotto with crab filled beignets, which was so delicious. My favorite dish was my friend's pasta with mushroom cream sauce. Everything tasted so fresh!

“Delicious Food and great value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 March 2012

Popped in for lunch with my wife and daughter, on a few days break in Kilkenny - based on the positive reviews on tripadvisor. The place was family friendly and the food was great. Chicken Wellington, Wild mushroom tagliatelle ... fab and not expensive. Will be back

“Great Seasonal Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 January 2012

The place is very inconspicuous looking but the food was great. I had the pork, it is not something I would usually order but as the pork was from their own farm I tried it. It was delicious and would have stood up there with any prime cut of meat. The value was exceptional and I left well and truly full. The staff where nice and the surroundings are comfortable.

“Excellent food, excellent value - will return”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 January 2012

Popped in for dinner on the way home from Dublin after spending the day christmas shopping. Really ended the day perfectly. The food was top notch and really good value. Would really reccommend the pork. One of the nicest places I have eaten in.

“Beautiful food from fresh produce!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 January 2012

We stopped here for lunch while sightseeing in Kilkenny and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The food was clearly very fresh and much of it was organic produce from their own farm, or sourced from local producers. Would highly recommend a detour via Foodworks while in Kilkenny.
