We only had coffee here but everything from the cups to the glass jar that we poured the milk from was so unique and interesting, we'l def be back for more after, old cinema movie projected on the wall throughout was really unusual too, when you pay as you please its a wooden box just inside the door that you drop your money into, so its discrete, we gave 5€ for our coffees, well worth it! :)

Fabulous food, really bubbly staff! The only down point is that because it is in such a small space it can get quite loud when full!! But overall great experience- we will definitely be returning!

“Great food, good service”
Reviewed 17 April 2012

We ate lunch in this small cafe on the first day of a trip to Killarney. The service was friendly and the food simple but well prepared from obviously fresh ingredients. The cafetiere coffee was also very good. The venture deserves support and we hope it does well.

“Quirky and unique experience!”
Reviewed 16 April 2012

This was such an experience, I had heard about the restaurant from several friends so was really looking forward to it, it absolutely lived up to my expectations! We went in a group of 8 and even though we arrived about half an hour apart from each other(and just before the 4pm closing time!) there was no pressure to get orders in. We ordered soup for starters which arrived in a bread bowl, with the top left on the side as garlic bread. We then had pizzas(all the food is served on large wooden chopping boards). With a roof-height mirror on one wall and black and white movies playing on another, the decor is stylish, quirky and casually yet carefully thrown together. We were told by the waiter to pay the bathroom a visit(!) and I can see why; it's pasted floor to ceiling with oldschool comics. The one thing that really stood out for me was the fact that the box for payment is out by the door and there is no pressure whatsoever to dictate what you pay, they are easygoing and will even break notes for you if needed. Definate experience worth going for! Although the menu is quite limited(soup,2 bruschetta choices, 3 pizza choices, a curry and a few extras) the food is top quality!
