Stopped by here twice on our recent visit to Galway. The first time was for lunch. Staff were so helpful, couldn't do enough for you. A brilliant choice of gluten free sandwiches or wraps. I went for the wrap which was so tasty. Chilled water on every table is a great idea, you don't have to ask for it. The second occasion was just for a snack as we had a late breakfast. I had a yummy soya milk latte and gluten free scone, delicious. There was also gf apple pie on the menu. A lovely warm and cosy spot here, will consider staying here the next time we visit.

Staff and location were perfect. We were driving a 9 seater van and were very happy to find the hotel had valet parking in their lot. The front desk staff also helped us pick a great restaurant for dinner and provided directions and tips for all parts of our trip. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. It was a great stay and I would happily recommend this hotel.

The entire team is welcoming and helpful with every detail. The meals were fantastic and the pub is very comfortable. The location is great as it is within walking distance to most of Galway. Overall it it among the nicest hotels that I have been to.

We were in town the weekend of the races and every single other hotel was booked solid .... except this one. I should've known there was a reason! That said, hotel is in a great location (within walking distance of tons of bars, restaurants, city square etc.) Staff were incredibly nice and friendly, helping with directions etc. But the rooms and bathrooms were old, tired, and very worn down. I believe they're in the middle of doing makeovers on their rooms, but not sure when that will be done. In the meantime, this hotel did not live up to good reviews, was too expensive for what it is and the rooms badly need work.
