“Bit pricey for average quality.”

This restaurant is right in the heart of Galway's busy central district. We were lead to a table and sat in less than comfortable (but perfectly acceptable) chairs.

One person had rib-eye steak, one had the rump of lamb and one had fish 'n chips. We gather these meals are pricey because of the location of the restaurant but felt that we wanted something more of an Irish experience than just a plate of food put in front of us for those prices.

The food was tasty, the portions adequate and the service was pleasant. We will say no more.

The hotel we were staying at suggested we eat here. It was a very crowded bar with restaurant in back. It was like a sauna in there. The wait staff was friendly and good at their job. The food was terribly over priced. I had an okay chicken dish with a small piece of chicken with bone in for E18.95 a soup, and very small salad totaling E39.00. There are tons of restaurants in that area... find a different one!

We tried to have lunch here on Friday, the staff ignored us. We got our own menus but nobody came to take our order. There were lots of young staff standing around, looking around but doing nothing. We can't comment on the food as we left after 15 minutes .

Although I didn’t have a vegan lunch there were some lovely vegan options (veggie Dahl, falafel). The potato soup was delicious and served nice and hot.
