This is a bistro style restaurant serving average food overpriced by about 20%. I ordered a lambs liver pate (€12) for starter and had to add pepper to add some flavour. That's a schoolboy error for a restaurant charging these prices. Sirloin steak €26 was flavoursome but tough and accompanied by excellent french fries. The whole rainbow trout €24 came with bones and greasy veg. The ginger cake dessert €7 was so-so. There was one standout dish, the scallops served on a cauliflower puree with chorizo and wilted spinach €12, which was amazing.
The service was pleasant and the venue has a lovely view, but the food is not up to par. Probably better to visit for lunch or pre-theatre when prices are more consistent with the fare.
