We recently spent 4 nights at the Spencer Dock location in Apt 38 Saunders.
We arrived into Dublin in the early morning and were advised that our apartment was not yet ready for us due to the previous guests checking out and the housekeeping that needed to be done. We were encouraged to go out and enjoy the city and we would be called when the apartment was ready. Well, never got a call! Disappointing when you have been travelling and have been awake for over 24 hours!!!
We returned to the main office and were provided keys and instructions on the location and the apartment. The most stressed instruction was that check out was 10:30 am. This fact was pointed out several times.
When we arrived at our unit, we found a very uninviting place waiting for us: Dingy, old and tired furniture in the living room and tired and stained carpets in the bedrooms. No washing machine, yet, we had not been advised that the washing machine would be missing and that someone would be entering our unit the following day to replace it.
We immediately emailed the representative at the office with some questions about the basic provisions left at the apartment and LACK thereof. We have yet to receive a response back from her or any one else in response to our email.
Our family has travelled extensively, renting apartments in many major cities all over the world and we can honestly say that this one ranks amongst our experience to date. We found ourselves with no dish cloth, 1 tea towel only, no paper towels and no coffee maker! The place was stripped!!! Even what is in the kitchen is SPARCE to be kind. Not sure how many groups could make a meal with what is provided. Not sure what the management thinks people travel with these days! We like to travel light and expect that there may be a basic MINIMUM provided especially at the nightly rate we were paying.
Bedrooms are no different! There is exactly 1 pillow (hard and bricklike at best) for each person. The mattress in the masterbedroom is extremely thin, lacks support, and is so badly stained and worn, it belonged in the dump many moons ago. The mattress on the cot is no better. My daughter had to sleep on slats. As for the bedding, it is crisp and clean but the comforter is hard and way to warm for the current temperatures. Unfortunately, there were no other alternatives such as a summer (light) blanket provided.
After 2 emails to reach out to the main office and NO response to one and a delayed response to the second (with zero resolution!!), I am extremely disappointed with this short-term rental and based on our experience, I can not recommend Dublin City Spencer Dock apartment #38 in its current state. I feel that this is unfortunate as the location and facilities have much more potential that what is currently being provided. As for the management and service, I will warn you that our experience was poor at best.

This company has apartments in various locations throughout the city. We stayed in the Hanover Wharf apartment #5 (3 bedroom). This company treated us nicely, as we were bumped out of the apartment we reserved at Molesworth Court Suites (three months in advance) only five days before our arrival. Our main issue with this apartment was the location. We didn't really have a choice though as we were told to by Molesworth to take this or have no where to stay (as five days out during busy summer nothing else was available for us to book on our own). It was not the location we picked and was not convenient to anything we had planned, but that was not this company's fault as they were accommodating us last minute. Do be aware there isn't much open in this area (only 2-3 open cafes/restaurants) and it is a good 30 minute walk to the city center. It also feels very deserted on the streets here at night as it isn't a tourist area - more a daytime business area (in fact I think there is a company office in the building that you see from the apartment balcony). City bus transportation is a few blocks away, but not near any hop on-hop off stops and cabs do not frequent this area. The apartment itself was very spacious (probably slept 8-10), had everything we needed and was clean. Cons were remote location, no A/C, wifi didn't work upstairs (living, dining & kitchen), and hardly any water pressure in master shower. Also no onsite reception, onsite luggage storage or assistance. Company office was 2km ($20 cab ride) away and had limited hours. We never reported water pressure, problems figuring out hot water booster, and other issues as we were out sightseeing while the main office was open (from about 9-5). If you are looking for a location to accommodate a large group and don't need to be close to city center, this might be a good option. Tip - try to arrive when apartment is available if possible. We arrived early morning from US and had to wait three hours at the airport until the office opened. The waiting at airport, morning trip to office to drop off luggage, after lunch trip to office to pick up key & luggage, and then trip to other side of town to apartment to finally get settled made for an exhausting, unproductive and expensive day.

The building is in Hanover Quay and is in a great area. The building itself is beautiful but apt#5 needs some help.
Pros: excellent location by the water, close to transportation and shops. Staff was very patient and helpful
Cons: We had to ask for an iron, on the second day of our 7 day trip we woke up to no water pressure (no showers or toilet flushing... points for the quick response on that), smoke detectors had to be disconnected 3 days in a row because they would not stop blaring. No pots, tv in only two bedrooms.

I would like to give a big thank you to John for the excellent service. Brendan on the other hand suggested the reason the smoke detector kept going off because we weren't using the fan when cooking....did I mention there were no pots....

We stayed at IFSC Custom House apartments, two bedroom, two bath. While the apartment was clean and ready upon arrival, we were disappointed because the heat never worked. We even went down to talk to management, but it was never fixed. Also the blind was broken in the living room, which received no attention either. Make sure you bring paper towels or tea towels, napkins. No salt and pepper. Missing a lot of details.

Went to Dublin with 3 friends as a birthday treat. Stayed in these apartments. Very clean and great for what we wanted. Felt secure as reception was manned at all times. A good walk to the centre of Dublin. Taxis available from reception where the staff were very helpful. Value for money and the apartments have absolutely everything you need. A little out of the way would be my only criticism
