We took a private tour with Liam, who met us at our hotel and hiked with us more than four miles throughout Dublin. His passion for the city, political knowledge and witty humor made this our favorite tour during a recent trip to Ireland.

My wife and I spent 4 glorious hours with Mr. Patrick Liddy today walking the streets of Dublin. To say the man made the tour is an understatement of the highest regard! His warm IRISH smile, his PRIDE of being an Irishman and his unfettered knowledge of his city and his country's history was truly humbling! Today two American's from New York were given a once in a life time treat and experience to spend four hours with such a wonderful ambassador and MAN from the great city of Dublin. If you come to Dublin you MUST do a tour with Mr. Pat Liddy!

Thank You Pat

Went to this tour with a guide called Liam. If you book through them you should request Liam. He is funny and very knowledgeable. To best take advantage you should be able to walk for three hours. One should get a good sense of Dublin. The center is not that big.

It was great seeing the history of Dublin come to life around me as we walked by the scene of the 1916 Uprising and saw where they escaped out the back and down the alley from the post office. I also enjoyed see the Rock and Roll museum and where Handel performed the Messiah for the first time.

Thumbs up for Maggie Phipps and Pat Liddy's Walking Tours! We had a wonderful three hour private and custom walking tour of downtown Dublin and many of its neighborhoods. Kudos to Maggie for taking time from her Sunday last minute to tour us around early in our visit to Dublin (so we could use the info/stories over our next few days). Our time together was fun, casual and super informative...well beyond a basic bus tour narrative. I would highly recommend Pat Liddy's and get Maggie if you can!

A highly informative, yet leisurely, walking tour in and about the heart of Dublin; our guide, Mr. Michael McCabe, is a great asset and credit to Pat Kiddy's "Walking Tours" with his insider's view and fascinating knowledge of the Irish culture, its struggles, conflicts, triumphs and tragedies and some of the pivotal, historical and architectural sites within the capital city of the country.

As Dublin virgins we needed some guidance, we always book walking tours when somewhere new. This is a great tour: facts, places and history, all with a touch of Irish humour. Really competitive price as well. Easy to find the start point. We booked through Tripadvisor.

Our tour guide was Michael and he was informative and entertaining. We took the tour on our first day in Dublin and it gave us a great grounding both geographically and historically. Michael was passionate about the history and made it come alive for us.

We booked the tour for our first full day in Dublin and did not regret it. This is an excellent way to learn about the buildings and history of part of the area south of the Liffey. There must be far more to learn, but it's a good start!

My husband and I were in Dublin for a short time and needed to be efficient in learning about the city and which sights to choose. We took the walking tour that centers around the areas north and south of the River Liffey. Our guide, Eoin, was knowledgeable and enjoyable to listen to.

In 2.5 hrs we got a good history lesson and learned enough about the popular sights to make our decision what to go back to and spend more time with. This particular tour gave a good overview.
