Went with friends for a meal, was quiet in the bar/restaurant which was lovely.... food was fab, and great size portion. Good selection in beers available also. Was very reasonable cost wise to eat out we were very happy and will be back again

The overall appearance of the hotel was tatty, our room looked out on to the main street and had no voile/net so people could see straight in which meant we had to keep our curtains shut most of the time. The bathroom was tired with a loose toilet and when you put the plug in the sink and then let it out it came up through the shower with an horrid smell! The bed was comfy enough and the bedding was clean. The room lighting was good with well placed plug sockets. The staff with exception of the lady who checked us in where very uninterested in there guests!

Popped in for food after a long day in the city. After getting turned away from a couple of places for wearing tracksuit bottoms the two men at the door took pity on us and let us in despite their no tracksuit policy. Much to our relief as we were both starving.
We both had the steak and it was to die for.
It was served with chunky chip (unreal) and topped with mushrooms and onions and an onion ring which were all delicious.
We went with the peppercorn sauce and it complimented the steaks perfectly.
Staff were friendly and polite and the service was speedy.

Not the best as old and a bit run down . Staff were friendly enough and pub and breakfast was ok. Some of the rooms are a bit small and we had to ask for a change and had to put up with a bedroom with 3 single beds. The bathrooms are not very nice also.

Room tip: Ok for stag night or hen party

Stayed here at O'shea's recently whilst visiting Dublin. This hotel has a perfect location close to city center and amazing for transport links on the door step of the airport 747 bus and less than a 5 minute walk to Connolly station :) very handy.

So the hotel you can see is very old apparently dating back to Georgian times, although there are some features that would make this obvious the hotel its self, the rooms, bar and restaurant are all updated but still keeping with Irish tradition. Staff are faultless from reception to the bar, restaurant and even the manager all welcoming, helpful and easy to talk with ( i find this a big must as you shouldn't go anywhere and feel uncomfortable speaking to a member of staff).

To sum this review up the rooms are very good for the money paid, its not the Ritz or the four seasons but you are not paying those prices so don't expect that, expect a modern up to date affordable hotel, Live music every night a perfect touch. Keep it up guys :) Big shout out to the staff.
