Upon entering the upstairs level of this restaurant, we were treated to an experience that was reminiscent of one we had in Paris last year, in that the atmosphere and ambience of the place could as easily have been on Rue de Four in the middle of a Parisian summer. From the decor to the music and the lighting, everything was on point.

The two French staff on the floor made us very welcome and were very exuberant in their service. Entertaining, loud and lively, it was a real French experience, full of character and colour.

The wine list alone is reason to go to this place but the food matches up perfectly. The choice and arrangements of dishes were excellent and we were treated to first class service and recommendations on what to have with our selected wines

The whole experience was fantastic and was not overly expensive for the quality of the food and service given. I believe their is also a good early bird here but we were late in our booking.

It was a quiet night when we were there and I can see it getting crowded and loud when fully booked but again this is part of the character of the place.

We will be frequenting this place again and very often if we can!

This was our second time visiting this restaurant, having been pretty blown away the first time.

Again we opted for the tasting menu (€38 a head) - which is just exceptional value for what you get, from the standard of service to the quality of food. We also paired the wine (additional €20 a head).

First course was scallops, cooked to perfection. Second course was Warm Goat Cheese Bonbons, Beetroot Three Ways (Pickled, Pureed & Braised). Third course was a Champagne Sobet (which included a glass of Moet), 4th course was a fillet of seabass, 5th course was Lamb with Gratin Potato, Pea & Truffle Puree, Roasted Vine Tomato & Rosemary Jus, we then had our cheese course followed by our Chocolate desert course (but these could have switched around the other way).

The wine pairings all the way were very good and represent amazing value.

Great atmosphere in the restaurant too, would definitely suit a special occasion, the other people in the restaurant were fairly "dressed up", so semi formal I would describe it as.

We had a family gathering to celebrate a birthday and chose Morilles , a very pleasant experience.
The food served was excellent - too many to disect , but i will give a particular mention to the starter portion of muscles - I really wouldn't want to see the main portion as this was like half the sea bed ( ) , the staff were polite , friendly and alert to any requests.
A tiny quibble - notwithstanding the premium on space , but they could maybe have a look at removing a table or two , as i thought we were tightly packed in .
But don't let that detract from a fantastic venue for great food and service

I cannot believe I have been living close to Morilles and have never been before! I was looking for somewhere local and easy and just dropped in here and what a treat it was! The service from the minute we walked in the door was brilliant, the two French staff were totally lovely and the food was such a surprise for a little neighbourhood place, it was beautifully cooked, beautifully presented and tasted amazing. I think this may be my new favourite! Thanks to the team for such a wonderful meal.
