A group of 12 of us arrived into Dublin for St Patrick's Day 2018. We went to Madigan's shortly before lunch time and where here for the rest of the day. We had a great day, the food was lovely, rugby was on the TV and the atmosphere was good. After spending A LOT of money in here there seemed to be an issue with some of the bar staff being tired and not getting a break as i am sure you can imagine it was packed all day. The waiting staff never got a minute, i don't know if this had something to do with what had happened next. One of our group ordered a round of drinks which came to €60.05 (so this was the going rate we had been paying all day) and asked would you take €60 and laughed while searching his pocket for change. after this drink when we asked to order another the manager asked us to leave as we had been rude to staff........ Rude is something that myself and friends are certainly not. However after spending the majority of our day in here, eating food and having drinks i think the bar where maybe wanting to make room for a fresh crowd. i was very disappointed to be treated in this way. We were nothing but nice and tipped the staff throughout the day. i will not be back in this bar after our very disappointing experience.
