Just returned from 4 night stay for hubbys 65th birthday. Room was lovely, bathroom needed a few minor things finishing. Staff we dealt with were all friendly and helpful. Cleaner did a lovely job everyday. Food was lovely but maybe a touch expensive. Location perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Some of the staff here are very helpful, but that is not true of all. My stay was a working trip, and having been told on the 'phone that parking wouldn't be a problem, it most certainly is. One has to question whether they really care if you can park on site or not given that they own a public car park 500yds away that charges Euro 12 a night!

I had a 'deluxe' room on the 4th floor which was very ordinary and vastly overpriced: this is little more than a pub with rooms. I have, and will have to work in Dublin quite frequently, and I will not be returning: there are much, much better establishments for your money.

This was our fourth stay at O'Connell Bridge having previously stayed at the Arlington Temple Bar. We were very well looked after as always, from the moment we booked with the excellent Mags Shannon. Food was terrific and bar staff very friendly. Bar staff in the UK could take lessons in how not to keep customers waiting even when busy! The Irish dancing is brilliant and is a must for anyone who has not seen it before. As this was a family break the only disappointment was that as children are not allowed in any of the bars after 9pm, there was nowhere suitable for us to go with them. Never-the-less its a top venue, particularly if you want to explore Dublin City centre.

Room Tip: The rooms with the best view are at the front but there is no lift access. The more modern rooms ar...

Stayed her with some friends on a recent trip to Dublin. I must say I was very impressed as always with this Hotel. We had a lovely spacious room overlooking the river and you couldn't hear any noise at all from the traffic!!
We had something to eat in the Bar also and it was fab! Great variety on the Menu and the staff were fantastic. Very attentive and checked on us to make sure we were ok.
We had stayed here before for the Bon Jovi concert and we weren't disapointed for that stay either. I would definitely return!!!!!

Stayed at the hotel during March 2012. It was a great hotel. I had stayed there a few years ago and knew it had a great location. It is across the river from temple bar, so close enough to have a good night out without staying in the middle of temple bar with all the bars and noise. It is also just off O'Connell Street and a short walk from Henry St for more shopping. Most buses drop off and pick up on O'Connell St. If you are coming from the airport and are using the aircoach service. Get off at O'Connell street and walk down to the river. Turn right at the river and the hotel is just a few doors up.

I have to mention the breakfast. We didnt originally book for breakfast but on the first day we opted to pay for breakfast. €7 for continental breakfast or €10 for full. We opted for the full breakfast and it was worth the €10. Have as much as you want, and as much tea and coffee. The staff are all very friendly.

There are a few things I noticed that arent mentioned on the website (if they are I missed them). The hotel has free wifi and a safe in the room.

This was a great hotel and was perfect for our stay in Dublin. When checking the hotels website for prices always scroll to the bottom of the page for offers. We had 3 nights for the price of 2.

Room Tip: Stay on the 4th floor if possible. Its away from the Live music downstairs. Although I have stayed o...
