I must admit Rustic Stone would not have been my very first choice because it looks like a tourist place. However, a friend of mine invited me for a dinner there, saying I wouldn't regret it.
At the first glance, I thought the restaurant reflects the brand: meat served on a hot stone. On the menu there were a lot of beefy choices: rib eye, sirloin, rumb and fillet (from 24 to 36€). I took the burger (18€) at my friend's advise. Since it is difficult to find medium rare meat in Dublin, especially with burgers, I was really surprised by my dish: it was succulent and perfectly medium rare cooked, with fresh toppings such as "rughetta" and lemon vinaigrette which I really loved. Really remarkable.
For those who are not up to meat, there is a vast choice of salads and pastas. My girlfriend took the chicken salad, around 11€.
Besides eating well, I would say there are things I believe the staff could get better at. Firstly, the salt flakes plates on the table (please replace them with something more hygienic). Secondly, the beefy fried odors in the dining room (please improve the vacuum systems).
Overall, it is clear Rustic Stone is a good place where eating well cooked meat.
