Great location was close to our hotel. We were only in town for this one night and found the area offered lots to do. We went to the original Temple Bar and the live music was great and the bartender was very friendly. Found a seat which was by luck and had a few pints of Guinness.

Thank Paul M

This section of Dublin has plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants just to check our while you’re on holiday in Dublin. Some great historic places and interesting people watching!

I've been there as a local rather than a tourist, but I pity the overseas visitors being ripped off with everything more expensive than normal in this district. I hate the image of our people and city that this area depicts: addiction, aggression, consumerism and vulgarity,

Fun place! They even have live music on Monday afternoons! I love all the rooms within the bar. We didn't have food but the drinks and music were entertaining in the afternoon

The area has many music pubs. I like 1st floor Gogarty where they play traditional irish music, but there are many others. There are also restaurants for food, and it is possible to have dinner in some music bars. The area is touristic, and so are the prices, but is a must - mostly because you can listen to the old traditional songs that are wellknown - as well as the traditional irish music.
