There is a good reason this part of Dublin is popular. It is really cool. Although full of tourists you should stills work your way through the crowd. We opted to experience it on our own and really enjoyed the complete atmosphere at the different times of day. We stayed right in the area and were not put off by noise or crowds. We also felt safe and don't think it is necessary to be part of a large organised group.

Great location was close to our hotel. We were only in town for this one night and found the area offered lots to do. We went to the original Temple Bar and the live music was great and the bartender was very friendly. Found a seat which was by luck and had a few pints of Guinness.

This section of Dublin has plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants just to check our while you’re on holiday in Dublin. Some great historic places and interesting people watching!

I've been there as a local rather than a tourist, but I pity the overseas visitors being ripped off with everything more expensive than normal in this district. I hate the image of our people and city that this area depicts: addiction, aggression, consumerism and vulgarity,

Fun place! They even have live music on Monday afternoons! I love all the rooms within the bar. We didn't have food but the drinks and music were entertaining in the afternoon
