We had a large room in this B&B with ensuite which was a 20 min walk into town. Nice quiet street with parking. Teresa, the proprietor, was very helpful and served up a beautiful breakfast. It is situated in a good part of Dublin.

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. Being off the main road while still convenient to buses etc means we are not disturbed by early morning traffic. We are also happy to be able to offer free parking. I appreciate that you took the trouble to post a review and that you found my information helpful and that you enjoyed our freshly cooked breakfasts.

Our son had no problems at all with dust allergies here. Everything was clean. The beds were comfortable. We had a great walk around this elegant neighborhood and near by park. Great experience at a reasonable price.

We are happy you and your little boy had an enjoyable stay with us. Having a grandchild with allergies, I am very conscious of the anxiety when eating out or when staying in accommodation and therefore am very careful when dealing with other peoples allergies. As you say this is a lovely neighbourhood and Herbert Park , with it's Duck pond and children's playground is a great amenity for people with children. Recently I have also had health conscious guests who find Herbert Park very safe and convenient for that early morning run

If you are looking for a confortable and quiet place where to stay in Dublin then Oakloadge house is the right one.
The area surrounding the residence is really nice and relaxed and you can reach city center in a maximum 20-25 minute walk or you get to some bus stops nearby in a 3 minute walk. It takes a 15 minute walk to get to the nearest DART station, the one next to AVIVA stadium.
Our host Teresa was the perfect one: kind, discreet and ready to help with whatever request we had. The breakfast was excellent. We took the en-suite room that was provided with all comforts. We would definitely recommend staying here and enjoy Dublin at its best!

Room Tip: En-suite room with private bathroom

I appreciate you taking the trouble to write a review on Oaklodge and am delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. We have learned much over the past 20 odd years about what the visitor is looking for on their vacation. We have done a lot of research over the years and have gained knowledge on our city. We also appreciate feedback from our guests when they find a little treasure that we have not been aware of. I hope you may have the opportunity to visit us again

A lovely B&B in Dublin with a friendly and helpful host and clean, quiet rooms. The breakfast was delicious with a nice choice of items. The bus was close, quick, and easy to use to get into downtown.

We are lucky to live in a very select area within walking distance of the city but to also be in a quiet, safe and pleasant neighborhood.
