The Times was my first experience in a hostel and was pretty much what I expected. I'd recommend it for young travelers who are in a larger group of people as the dorm style rooms would work great. My boyfriend and I stayed in an en-suite room, and it was very nice to have our own room to ourselves plus a bathroom. The downsides were that it was very loud at night as we were situated right next to the kitchen. Again, for the young travelers who will be out late this wouldn't be much of a problem. Very helpful staff as well which was much appreciated.

We stayed in a private room and it was great - clean bathroom, reasonable rate and comfy bed. Great location. We were stuck in Dublin during the icelandic volcano fiasco and the employees of this place were super helpful. The free computer access and wifi certainly came in handy as well! Breakfast in the morning was just meh but maybe it's not my taste.

I had sprained my ankle a few weeks before our trip and every evening, the security man would bring me my icepack that he kept in the employee freezer for me. So kind and helpful! Highly recommend!

I will always recommend this hostel for young people (20-24years old)or for those who look for fun, because is kinda of noisy!overall, the hostel is clean and the staff is friendly.very cheap for its location(its right beside the Trinity College). You can take the 16A bus form the airport to the hostel.Once you arrive in the city centre, you only have to cross the street from the bus station to the hostel(the ticket is 2.5euros).We arrived late in the night and we had to take the Aircoach, which will let you on the other side of Trinity College(the ticket is 7euros/way).
Downstairs, right beside the Hostel is a pub, that's way in the night it can be kinda of noisy. One night we had an incident- some students arrived drunk and made a lot of noise on the hall :).
You can cook in the kitchen, for lunch or for dinner. You can find all you need(plates, spoons, pots). In the room was very warm. The hostel have central heater. You won't find towels in the bathroom or other amenities. Also,if you need the plug, you'll have to bring an adapter or you can rent one from the reception(only that is 5euros,something like that).
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and I will surely recommend it further.

If you are old note that this hostel has no lift. So if you're on the 3rd or 4th floor it might be a problem for you.
Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Limited seating in small reception area...exhausting if you have to stand and wait for check in.
My room was smelly. A smell coming from the toilet that remained for the 3 nights I was there. No furniture in room...like a table or chair to put things. Bed was clean. Breakfast....all the toast and tea you can handle.
Location very good.
