I spend 5 nights there with my Westies from Poland, Austria and Germany and we had a wonderful time there. Mary, the owner, was absolutely great and friendly and nice to us and helped us with everything we need. We got a very early breakfast in the morning, she called a taxi for us and we could ask her everytime about everything. The rooms are very tidy and comfortable and the breakfast is very good. When I come back to Dublin I will stay again in this house, I promise! We had a wonderful time there.

What a wonderful experience we had at Mrs. O'Leary's Almanii B&B! We stayed 4 1/2 days. We had a ridiculously early flight arrival and Mary was able to arrange early checkin and breakfast for a reasonable charge. This made a world of difference for the beginning of our Ireland vacation! Although our room was on the front of the house which is located at an intersection, there was no noise to bother us. The breakfast was delicious and large and the atmosphere was friendly and 'homey'. Mary could not have been more helpful with bus choices and scheduling. Following her directions we had no problem getting into and back from center city Dublin. We used the bus which was a half block away from the B&B, very convenient. Our room was spotless and well decorated and furnished and the beds very comfortable.
One hint, you don't need a car while staying here. You can get the bus directly from the airport or a taxi. If you need to get a car at the end of your stay at this B&B, you can easily pick one up at the airport. Again, you can get a bus near the B&B and go directly to the airport. We had a car for the 4 1/2 nights we were there and we never drove the car.
When we again visit Ireland, we will definitely be staying with Mary O'Leary at the Almanii! THE BEST B&B I have every stayed in!

Me and some of my friends stayed here and we got much more than we're expected. Mary O'Leary is such a great host. She helped us with all our little and big problems. The breakfast was really good, especially the tea ;-), the rooms are perfect and the bed was just really really comfortable. Its easy to find and the city centre is close. We had a perfect trip because of the warm welcome and the good sleep! We would choose this B&B again!!!!

We chose this B&B for our last 2 nights in Ireland because of its proximity to the airport. Our email correspondence with Mary O'Leary prior to making the reservation made us feel like we knew her. Our rooms were wonderful -- a charming double with a bay window for my husband and me, and a spacious room across the hall from ours with 3 single beds for our 3 kids, and each room had its own full bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious, and when we bought Chinese takeout food for dinner one night, Mary graciously allowed us to eat it in the breakfast room. The only disappointment was that it was a very long bus ride to the City Centre, but that was the tradeoff for being such a quick trip to the airport.
P.S. My son accidentally came home with his room key, and Mary was very nice about it, didn't charge us for making a replacement, just said please mail it back as soon as possible (which we did).

We had a friendly and wonderful welcome on our first night in Ireland. Mary O'Leary is a gracious host, our accommodations and breakfast were excellent, and we were sorry we could only stay one night. Had some difficulty parking our awkward and large rental car in what was (for Californians used to generous parking) a somewhat tight parking space - no problem, Mary parked it for us! We couldn't have imagined a better welcome to Ireland and recommend this property highly.
