Liam was very responsive to our request for more lamps. We needed better lighting by which to read. The only other lighting was provided by ceiling fixtures with rather low wattage bulbs and the ceilings are very high! We rent for 2-3 weeks and cozier lighting is a must! Though the bathroom is quite “roomy”, I think any more than 2 people renting here would be a stretch (unless it was just for a very few nights). The TV is very nice, although the available stations are pretty boring. There was a channel that had some good BBC-type mystery shows. It would be nice to have some “House & Home” (HGTV-type) Channels to watch - can’t go to the Pubs every single night! There were plenty of clean towels, adequate pots & pans, dishes, utensils, etc. provided. The apartment complex has a “shed” type of structure that holds a couple of washing machines AND (!) tumble dryers. They worked great. This means fewer clothes to pack, as doing laundry is quick & easy. The location was wonderful. Short walk to Henry Street and just a few minutes longer walk to Temple Bar, Grafton Street, Trinity College and other South Side attractions. (We love going to their museums and the Brumble cafes inside are very good for lunch; try the “Decorative Arts & History National Museum @ Collins Barracks, Arran Quay!) This is our 6th winter of renting from Liam & staff—thanks, guys!
we visited dublin for a business week and found the appartement very cosy. we reached the main spots of Dublin by feet. Ha´penny bridge just around the corner, The Spire and Temple Bar area only 5 minutes walking distance. Felt very safe as the flat is inside an appartement resort. Very friendly and smooth key handover. Liam, the owner, was very kind to send an forgotten item to me as fast as possible! Thank you very much!
