Malin Head, the Northernmost point, was absolutely beautiful! It is the Inishowen Peninsula. I have great video of sheep running across a field and below is a beach and looking over toward the left are huge rocks/cliffs. The fact that some of Star Wars was filmed there was a plus. You'll love it!

The journey up to Malin head is a pleasure in itself. The houses and well kept gardens are immaculate and the you arrive at Malin Head and the views are astoundingly beautiful.

Stayed in Malin Head for one night in the hope of seeing the Northern Lights, but not to be as it rained constantly.

Beautiful scenery in this part of the world, so a must stop off if in the area

Drove up from Buncrana, which was a cracking drive, to this amazing place. If you are anywhere near Inishowen you simply have to visit. Amazing walk from the car park (which is being extended) to the head (about 1 mile) is well worth it.

Whilst touring the north we came across Malin Head late in the day. The area is breath taking, stunning views of the head land and we were fortunate to witness one of the most spectacular sunsets. Such a romantic way to end the day watching the sun set off the coast in a peaceful and tranquil area of Ireland.
