We had the incredible good fortune of visiting Fairy Glen on a sunny, warm day in the summer, and everyone in the family agreed that it was a truly magical place. The emerald green hills were enchanting and easy to explore and the views from the tops of the of the pointy summits were breathtaking. This is a great place to hike or just to sit and relax after a long day of exploring Skye. I would imagine that the place is every bit as impressive on a rainy day. I would recommend giving yourself at least 45 minutes to hike around and enjoy the sights . . . and hour or more would be ideal.
